À propos de l'opportunité : Notre client, une chaîne québécoise indépendante de premier plan dans la vente de matériaux de construction et d'articles de quincaillerie, est à la recherche d'un(e) représentant(e) externe pour faire croître son marché. Si vous carburez à l'atteinte d'objectifs, que vous avez à cœur d'offrir un service client irréprochable et que vous souhaitez évoluer au sein d'une entreprise aux valeurs familiales valorisant l'esprit d'équipe, ce rôle est fait pour vous.

Vos responsabilités principales :

  • Repérer et développer de nouvelles occasions d'affaires auprès d'une clientèle diversifiée, incluant les auto-constructeurs, les entrepreneurs, ainsi que les secteurs commercial, industriel et institutionnel de votre territoire.
  • Stimuler la croissance des comptes actuels et bâtir des relations d'affaires solides, basées sur la confiance à long terme.
  • Préparer les soumissions professionnelles et assurer la prise de commandes.
  • Effectuer un suivi rigoureux des dossiers en cours et garantir un service après-vente impeccable.
  • Cerner les besoins précis de la clientèle grâce à une écoute attentive afin de proposer des solutions sur mesure.

Le profil recherché :

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) ou équivalence reconnue.
  • Minimum de 3 années d'expérience pertinente en représentation sur la route ou en développement des affaires.
  • Connaissance approfondie des produits de quincaillerie et des matériaux de construction (exigence absolue).
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication, la persuasion et la négociation.
  • Fortes capacités d'organisation, de planification et d'autonomie.
  • Maîtrise de l'écoute active et approche centrée sur le client.
  • Permis de conduire de classe 5 valide (obligatoire).
