Présentation du poste

Notre client, un entrepreneur général actif dans le secteur de la construction, recherche un surintendant de chantier pour un projet résidentiel d'envergure situé à l'Ouest de Montréal.

Le projet consiste en la construction d'un immeuble multi résidentiel en béton de plusieurs étages. Son ampleur nécessite une planification rigoureuse, une coordination étroite des sous-traitants et une supervision quotidienne des opérations afin d'assurer le respect des échéanciers et des standards de qualité et de sécurité.

Relevant du directeur de projet, le surintendant sera responsable de la gestion des activités sur le terrain, de la coordination des équipes et de l'avancement des travaux.

Principales responsabilités

  • Planifier et coordonner les travaux en fonction de l'échéancier maître et des priorités du chantier.
  • Organiser les séquences de construction, notamment les travaux de structure de béton, et coordonner les différents corps de métier.
  • Préparer et suivre les planifications à court terme afin de maintenir un rythme de production soutenu.
  • Superviser les sous-traitants et les équipes sur le terrain et assurer la coordination de leurs interventions.
  • Participer aux rencontres de chantier avec le directeur de projet, les professionnels et les sous-traitants.
  • Anticiper les enjeux techniques et opérationnels et coordonner les solutions appropriées.
  • Contrôler la qualité des travaux et des matériaux, et assurer le suivi des inspections et des déficiences.
  • Veiller au respect des normes de santé et sécurité et à l'application du programme de prévention.
  • Vérifier la conformité des travaux avant les inspections des professionnels.
  • Assurer le suivi des plans tels que construits et de la documentation quotidienne du chantier.
  • Gérer les installations temporaires, les équipements et les besoins logistiques du chantier.
  • Participer ponctuellement aux travaux manuels lorsque la situation l'exige.

Profil recherché

  • Expérience significative comme surintendant sur des chantiers résidentiels de grande envergure.
  • Expérience en construction multi résidentielle en béton, idéalement sur des immeubles de plusieurs étages.
  • Bonne connaissance des cycles de coffrage, d'armature et de bétonnage, ainsi que de la coordination des travaux de structure.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs sous-traitants et à maintenir une progression constante des travaux.
  • Maîtrise de la planification à court terme, de la gestion des priorités et du contrôle de la qualité.
  • Leadership terrain, autonomie, rigueur et capacité à prendre des décisions rapidement.
  • Approche pratique et collaborative, avec une présence active sur le chantier.

Conditions

  • Rémunération pouvant atteindre plus de 200 000 $ par année, selon l'expérience et le profil.
