Wir suchen eine/n Data Engineer (m/w/d)

  • Köln
  • Vollzeit (40h)
  • Befristet auf zwei Jahre mit der Option auf Übernahme

Deine Aufgaben

  • Weiterentwicklung unserer AWS-basierten Datenplattform und aktive Mitgestaltung unserer Data- & AI-Strategie
  • Konzeption, Entwicklung und Betrieb skalierbarer Datenpipelines, Datenintegrationen und wiederverwendbarer Data Products für Analytics, digitale Produkte und AI-Anwendungen
  • Sicherstellung von Data Quality, Observability und zuverlässigen Datenprozessen durch automatisierte Tests, Monitoring und nachhaltige Behebung von Datenproblemen
  • Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung einer AI-ready Data Foundation, die Daten strukturiert, dokumentiert und zuverlässig für Analytics, Machine Learning und agentenbasierte Anwendungen bereitstellt
  • Nutzung und Integration von AI und Agents im Data-Engineering-Umfeld, um Entwicklungs-, Daten- und Automatisierungsprozesse effizienter zu gestalten
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Fachbereichen und Product Teams, um Anforderungen in skalierbare Datenlösungen zu übersetzen sowie neue Technologien zu evaluieren und in produktive Anwendungen zu überführen

Das bringst du mit

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Mathematik, Betriebswirtschaft/Controlling oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung im Data Engineering und mit AWS-basierten Datenplattformen
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in SQL und Python sowie Erfahrung mit Datenmodellierung, ETL/ELT-Prozessen und APIs
  • Erfahrung mit Terraform und Infrastructure as Code sowie modernen Software-Engineering-Prinzipien wie Git, CI/CD, Testing und automatisierten Deployments
  • Erfahrung oder Interesse an Data Products, Generative AI, LLMs und agentenbasierten Systemen sowie die Bereitschaft, AI und Coding Agents im eigenen Engineering-Workflow einzusetzen
  • Ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen, Lösungsorientierung und die Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Zusammenhänge verständlich zu vermitteln
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung mit Data Lake-/Lakehouse-Architekturen, dbt, Data Catalogs oder Metadata Management sowie mit LLM APIs, RAG, Tool Calling, MCP oder Agent Frameworks
  • Zusätzlich Kenntnisse in Qlik Sense oder vergleichbaren Analytics-Plattformen
