Canon is wereldwijd toonaangevend in professionele printoplossingen en loopt voorop in de ontwikkeling van geavanceerde inkjettechnologie voor de commerciële printmarkt. In productieomgevingen waar snelheid, betrouwbaarheid en kwaliteit essentieel zijn, maken onze systemen dagelijks het verschil. Van hoogvolume velprinters tot full color roll to roll productielijnen met slimme en complexe technologie.

Als Field Service Engineer Commercial Print zorg jij dat deze systemen blijven doen wat ze moeten doen. Presteren. Binnen het domein Commercial Print werk je aan de meest geavanceerde apparatuur van Canon, zoals de varioPRINT iX3200 inkjetprinter. Je installeert nieuwe machines, voert preventief onderhoud uit en lost technische storingen op. Je werkt met inkjetkoppen, transportmechanismen, sensoren en software die kleur, positionering en output aanstuurt. Dankzij jouw inzicht in de volledige printworkflow beperk je stilstand en help je klanten het maximale uit hun systemen te halen.

Je hebt een brede technische basis waarin mechatronica, elektrotechniek en IT samenkomen. Je stelt systemen nauwkeurig af, voert kalibraties uit, leest logbestanden, analyseert storingsdata en installeert firmware updates. Je werkt zelfstandig op locatie en stemt waar nodig af met collega’s op afstand. Bij complexere vraagstukken kun je terugvallen op een Field Service Specialist.

Je rol gaat verder dan techniek alleen. Je instrueert gebruikers bij ingebruikname, adviseert klanten over optimaal gebruik en onderhoud, beheert je onderdelenvoorraad en zorgt voor een zorgvuldige administratieve afhandeling van je werkzaamheden.

Je woont in Zuid Nederland, bijvoorbeeld in de regio Eindhoven, Venlo of Maastricht. Je vertrekt vanuit huis en rijdt rechtstreeks naar je afspraken. Onderdelen en verbruiksmaterialen worden ’s nachts aangevuld in je serviceauto. Je werkt veel zelfstandig, maar altijd in verbinding met collega Field Service Engineers, productspecialisten en andere Canon collega’s. Met een zorgvuldig onboardingtraject zorgen we dat je goed van start gaat. In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Field Service Manager van jouw regio.

Responsibilities

• Installeren, onderhouden en repareren van industriële inkjetsystemen; • Analyseren en oplossen van technische storingen bij klanten op locatie; • Uitvoeren van kalibraties, afstellingen en firmware updates; • Uitlezen en analyseren van logbestanden en storingsdata; • Instrueren en adviseren over optimaal gebruik en onderhoud; • Beheren van je onderdelenvoorraad en serviceadministratie.

Qualifications

• Dit werk vraagt om HBO-werk- en -denkniveau, bij voorkeur in mechatronica of een vergelijkbare technische richting; • Ervaring met het analyseren en oplossen van complexe storingen is een grote plus; • Je werkt gemakkelijk met technische software en diagnoseapplicaties en hebt basiskennis van netwerkconfiguratie; • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en kunt je goed redden in het Engels; • Je werkt vooral tijdens kantooruren en bent af en toe beschikbaar voor storingen of consignatiediensten.
