What is Your Role?

CapitalMD helps elite physicians turn their expertise into influence, opportunities, and meaningful income beyond clinical practice. As Chief of Staff, you will own the physician experience - from onboarding to deal close. This is a hands-on operator role where you will perform key business functions as you guide the strategy.

You will:

  • Own Physician Relationships: Be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of elite physicians. Know their expertise, goals, interests, and preferences while making every physician feel known, supported, and professionally managed.
  • Drive Opportunities: Help turn physician expertise and content into real opportunities. Source and manage the pipeline, coordinate introductions and engagements, and keep opportunities moving from initial interest through execution.
  • Build CapitalMD: We’re early. You will help build the systems, playbooks, AI workflows, and new ideas that allow us to serve hundreds and eventually thousands of physicians. This is an entrepreneurial role - we want your authorship in what CapitalMD becomes.
  • Grow with CapitalMD: As the job duties develop, we are looking for someone to be a functional leader of this business at VP level or above - owning a P&L, building the team, and developing the product roadmap.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an exceptional entrepreneurial operator early in their career.

  • 2–4 years of experience, ideally across healthcare/life science consulting, startups, or other fast-moving environments. You have exceptional written and verbal communication and are analytical and commercially minded.
  • Great with people. You build trust quickly and can confidently manage relationships with accomplished physicians and business leaders. Comfortable interviewing physicians and healthcare executives.
  • Highly organized and action-oriented. You can manage lots of moving pieces, follow through relentlessly, and make things happen. You’re able to own projects independently and push them across the finish line.
  • Entrepreneurial and AI-native. You love blank canvases, move quickly, use modern tools to create leverage, and want to help build a company from the ground up. You get excited by AI, content, growth, and building systems.
  • Low ego, high ownership. No task is beneath you, and you care more about the outcome than who gets credit. You want ownership and the growth that comes with it.
