The primary roles and responsibilities of this position are analyzing & resolving production issues from hardware & software tool side on a day-to-day basis to upkeep the product testing without any interruptions and implementation of Test Plans for Automated Logic’s products. Test Plan implementation includes specifying test fixtures and if needed designing additional circuits to aid in testing the product. Effective Test Plan implementation shall include meeting Takt Time, Quality and First Pass Yield goals. Other primary responsibilities include increasing the overall efficiency of production tests and assembly processes.
This is a full-time, onsite position located in Kennesaw, GA. The role operates on a second shift schedule comprising four 10-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing production test/assembly processes and implementing process improvement to increase efficiency and quality.
- Create standards for Test sequences which can be leveraged across products lines for efficiency and quality.
- Recognize and implement process improvements within entire factory environment for efficiency and quality, with specific focus on direct labor cost.
- Resolution of operational issues in production test processes.
- Leading root cause analysis for test failures.
- Review of design documents for DFT (Design for Test) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) compliance.
- Developing Test strategies for the product test to include specifying test equipment, maintaining test fixtures and enhancing existing test stations/pods.
- Improve product first pass yield (FPY), with focus on reducing false test failures and test equipment failures.
