About Cedar Financial

Cedar Financial (“Cedar”) is a renowned international financial services company, recognized for its expertise in cross-border ARM (Accounts Receivable Management) services. Our team is driven by a spirit of innovation, constantly seeking new ideas and ways to improve and evolve. We understand that complacency can be detrimental to business and as such, we are quick to embrace change and tackle challenges head-on. Our approach is not one of recklessness, but one of agility and strategic thinking. We focus on achieving results rather than simply completing routine tasks. Our goal is to provide our clients with exceptional services that help them achieve their financial goals.

About the Role

We are looking for a SaaS Content Writer who can turn complex software, fintech, and B2B concepts into clear, compelling content that attracts, educates, and converts decision-makers. You will write across the full funnel, from SEO blog posts and thought-leadership articles to product pages, case studies, email campaigns, and sales material. You will work closely with the product, sales, and SEO teams to drive pipeline and product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Full-Funnel Content: Write high-quality top-, middle-, and bottom-of-funnel content, including blog posts, long-form guides, comparison and “alternatives” pages, use-case pages, and product-led articles.

• Product Marketing Content: Create product pages, feature announcements, release notes, landing pages, and onboarding and help-center content with the product and product marketing teams.

• UX & Product Microcopy: Write clear, intuitive microcopy for product interfaces, including CTAs, labels, tooltips, error messages, empty states, and onboarding flows.

• Customer Stories: Turn customer briefs from internal SMEs into compelling case studies that highlight customer challenges, solutions, and outcomes.

• Sales Enablement: Develop whitepapers, eBooks, one-pagers, battlecards, and other material that supports the sales team.

• Email & Lifecycle: Write copy for nurture sequences, newsletters, product launch emails, and in-app messages.

• SEO Best Practices: Apply keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, and internal linking guidance from SEO briefs, and optimize content for Google and AI answer engines.

• SME Collaboration: Turn technical and financial input from product, engineering, and compliance teams into clear, accurate, benefit-driven copy for B2B buyers.

• Brand Voice & Messaging: Keep brand voice, positioning, and messaging consistent across all channels and content types.

• Content Repurposing: Repurpose long-form content into social posts, LinkedIn articles, video scripts, and webinar outlines.

• Research & Accuracy: Research the SaaS, fintech, and accounts receivable markets, competitors, and buyer personas in depth. Cite credible sources and follow the compliance review process.

• Content Performance: Track content performance (traffic, engagement, conversions, and pipeline influence) and use the results to refresh and improve existing content.

• AI-Assisted Workflow: Use AI writing and research tools responsibly to work faster while keeping content original, factually accurate, and human-edited.

Objective and KPI

Objective: Produce high-quality, conversion-focused content that builds brand authority, attracts qualified B2B buyers, and supports pipeline growth and product adoption.

• Output: Delivery of the agreed monthly content calendar (typically 6–10 assets per month, depending on length and complexity), on time and on brief.

• Organic & Engagement Metrics: Organic traffic, time on page, scroll depth, and engagement rate on published content.

• Conversions: Content-assisted conversions such as demo requests, sign-ups, trial starts, downloads, and new email subscribers.

• Pipeline Influence: Content-influenced leads and opportunities, tracked through CRM attribution (e.g., HubSpot).

• Quality: Few revision rounds, with content meeting brand, SEO, accuracy, and compliance standards on first review.

• Content Refreshes: Existing assets updated each month, with measurable gains in rankings or conversions.

Education, Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of content writing experience, including at least 2 years writing for B2B SaaS, fintech, or technology companies.

• A strong portfolio of published SaaS or B2B work, including blog posts, product or landing pages, and case studies.

• Excellent English writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a clear, persuasive, and concise style.

• Ability to understand complex software products and explain them to both technical and business audiences.

• Working knowledge of SEO copywriting and tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Surfer SEO or Clearscope.

• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or HubSpot) and collaboration tools (Google Docs, Notion, Asana, or ClickUp).

• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred

• Knowledge of financial services, accounts receivable, collections, or payments.

• Familiarity with product-led growth (PLG), SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, MRR), and B2B buyer journeys.

• Experience with conversion copywriting, UX writing, or A/B testing.

• Experience using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Jasper) within a structured editorial workflow.

• Basic design or multimedia skills (Canva, Figma, or video scripting).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
