Estamos com inscrições abertas para posições de Docentes em Regime de Dedicação Integral para atuação no Doutorado em Engenharia de Software. Principais Responsabilidades:

  • LiderançaEstruturar e liderar laboratórios e grupos de pesquisa de classe mundial; Contribuir estrategicamente para a visão acadêmica e científica da CESAR School; Fortalecer conexões entre academia, indústria e ecossistemas de inovação.
  • Pesquisa & InovaçãoConduzir pesquisas de alto impacto voltadas a desafios complexos globais; Conectar produção científica à implementação prática em larga escala; Atuar em colaboração com o hub de inovação do CESAR e parceiros estratégicos.
  • Mentoria & FormaçãoOrientar estudantes de Mestrado e Doutorado; Contribuir para um currículo acadêmico rigoroso, contemporâneo e orientado à prática; Inspirar e desenvolver novas gerações de pesquisadores(as), builders e líderes tecnológicos.
  • Captação de RecursosAtrair oportunidades de financiamento, parcerias estratégicas e projetos de pesquisa, potencializando o robusto ecossistema de inovação do CESAR.

O perfil que buscamos:

  • Formação acadêmica: Doutorado (Ph.D.) em Engenharia de Software, Ciência da Computação, Inteligência Artificial, Ciência de Dados ou áreas técnicas correlatas.
  • Excelência Técnica: Proficiência avançada em programação, desenvolvimento de software e engenharia de sistemas; Capacidade de atuar entre profundidade científica e implementação prática.
  • Experiência Profissional: Histórico consistente em projetos de software de larga escala, pesquisa aplicada ou iniciativas tecnológicas avançadas; Experiência em institutos de pesquisa, ecossistemas de inovação, startups ou empresas globais de tecnologia será considerada diferencial.
  • Idioma: Fluência profissional em inglês (oral e escrita) é obrigatória para colaboração internacional, publicações e atuação acadêmica global.
  • Disponibilidade: Início imediato; Atuação presencial em tempo integral (5 dias por semana), localizada na região do Porto Digital - Recife/PE.

Ph.D. Program in Software Engineering | CESAR School

Hello, we are CESAR - the largest self-sustained, non-profit innovation institute in Latin America — operating at the intersection of advanced research, technological development, talent formation, and real-world industrial impact. We are currently inviting applications for Full-Time Faculty Positions in our Ph.D. Program in Software Engineering.

We are looking for outstanding researchers, educators, and/or technology leaders capable of bridging academic excellence, applied research, and large-scale innovative impact.

The Opportunity Faculty members will join a highly interdisciplinary environment directly connected to, where they will have the opportunity to:

  • Mentorship & Education Supervise Master’s and Ph.D. students; Contribute to a rigorous, contemporary, and practice-oriented academic curriculum; Inspire and develop new generations of researchers, builders, and technology leaders.
  • Grant Acquisition Attract funding opportunities, strategic partnerships, and research projects, leveraging CESAR’s robust innovation ecosystem.

Desired Profile

  • Academic BackgroundPh.D. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields.
  • Technical Excellence Advanced proficiency in coding, software development, and systems engineering; Ability to operate between scientific depth and practical implementation.
  • Professional Experience Proven track record in large-scale software projects, applied research, or advanced technological initiatives; Experience in research institutes, innovation ecosystems, startups, or global technology companies will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Language Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory for international collaboration, scientific publication, and global academic engagement.
  • Availability Immediate start; Full-time, on-site position (5 days/week) located at Porto Digital, Recife, Brazil.
