Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de un Especialista Data Engineer (Sr.) para incorporarse al área de Ingeniería de Datos dentro de una Gerencia de Datos del rubro Retail.

El equipo está conformado por 9 colaboradores de diversos perfiles (Data Delivery Lead, Architects, Data Engineers, DataOps, Data QC y Data Analysts) y es responsable del ciclo de desarrollo completo: desde la ingesta hasta la disponibilidad de datos para la gestión y toma de decisiones de los usuarios internos en Argentina. Como Especialista, serás responsable de construir soluciones para requerimientos evolutivos, correctivos de segundo nivel y proyectos regionales que requieran datos del país, trabajando sobre un ecosistema alojado íntegramente en la nube de AWS.

Lo que puedes esperar de este rol (Responsabilidades)

  • Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener pipelines de datos eficientes y escalables utilizando servicios de AWS (Redshift, Glue, EMR, MWAA, S3, API Gateway, entre otros).
  • Implementar procesos de extracción, transformación y carga (ETL) optimizados mediante PySpark y SQL.
  • Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios y stakeholders para comprender los requisitos de datos y diseñar soluciones de alto rendimiento y confiabilidad.
  • Monitorear y optimizar continuamente el rendimiento de los pipelines de datos existentes.
  • Garantizar la calidad e integridad de los datos mediante la aplicación de prácticas de gobernanza y control de calidad.
  • Documentar procesos y flujos de trabajo técnicos para facilitar la mantenibilidad y la transferencia de conocimientos en el equipo.
  • Participar activamente en la resolución de problemas y la atención de incidentes de segundo nivel relacionados con pipelines de datos.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia acreditada como Especialista / Sr. trabajando con grandes volúmenes de datos.
  • Experiencia avanzada comprobable en el ecosistema AWS: AWS Redshift, Glue, EMR, MWAA, S3 y API Gateway (EXCLUYENTE).
  • Sólidos conocimientos y dominio técnico en PySpark y SQL (EXCLUYENTE).
  • Experiencia sólida en el diseño e implementación de arquitectura de sistemas y procesos ETL/ELT.
  • Experiencia en optimización de consultas, monitoreo y tuning de rendimiento en pipelines de datos.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, autonomía, proactividad y capacidad para solucionar problemas complejos en entornos dinámicos.

Deseable

  • Familiaridad con herramientas de CI/CD y prácticas de DevOps.
  • Experiencia de trabajo bajo metodologías ágiles (Scrum).
