Job Description Summary:

The Senior Director I, RGM OBPPC Occasions will lead NAOU’s total-portfolio occasion strategy, identifying the consumer and shopper occasions the portfolio should prioritize and translating those opportunities into clear implications for brands, packages, channels, assortment, and physical and digital commerce. Reporting to the Senior Director II, RGM OBPPC E-Commerce, the role will provide an integrated occasion lens that strengthens portfolio coherence across Sparkling Soft Drinks, Stills, and relevant hydration categories while enabling category and eCommerce OBPPC teams to build differentiated growth strategies. This requires a holistic business understanding, analytical mindset, cross-functional leadership, and strong influencing skills.

  • Establish and own the NAOU total-portfolio occasion framework and taxonomy across consumer and shopper need states, physical and digital channels, outlets, customers, and geographies.
  • Identify and prioritize the occasions NAOU should win, quantify opportunity pools, and define the role of categories, brands, packages, assortment, and channels within each priority occasion.
  • Develop a one- to three-year occasion roadmap that connects opportunity identification, consumer and shopper need states, channel and outlet dynamics, package roles, assortment implications, pilots, and learning priorities across the total portfolio.
  • Translate occasion opportunities into strategic implications and guardrails for category and eCommerce OBPPC teams. The role does not own individual category or trademark strategy, final package portfolio decisions, customer-specific pricing or promotions, trade investment, or customer and bottler execution.

  • Partner with category OBPPC, eCommerce OBPPC, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Chain, RGM Execution, customers, and bottlers to design occasion-led pilots and ensure learning is captured and incorporated into scalable playbooks.
  • Identify cross-category, variety-pack, bundle, and physical-versus-digital commerce opportunities that can accelerate incremental growth against priority occasions.
  • Enable category OBPPC, RGM Execution, Commercial, customer, and bottler teams with occasion frameworks, insights, guardrails, and playbooks that can be translated into annual customer and system plans.
  • Lead the occasion-based strategy development and quantification of Sources of Growth across the total portfolio for incorporation into annual and multi-year business planning.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
