Job Description Summary:

Digital products play a central role in how we create value for customers, support the teams who serve them, and enable our business to operate at its best.

Our Product and Engineering organizations bring together small, empowered teams that combine engineering, product, design, and data expertise to solve meaningful problems and deliver measurable outcomes across Coca-Cola's North America Operating Unit.

As a Senior Software Engineer, Customer Financial Execution, you'll serve as the technical lead on a product team building digital experiences and capabilities that support important financial operations across our business.

Some of the most interesting engineering challenges exist where complex business processes, established enterprise platforms, and modern technologies come together. This role offers the opportunity to work in that space, bringing fresh technical thinking, strong engineering practices, and a deep understanding of users to products that operate at meaningful scale.

We're looking for an engineer who loves solving complex problems, has strong architectural instincts, and wants to influence what gets built, not just how it's implemented. You'll work across enterprise platforms, connected applications, and modern technologies, helping your team find solutions that are simple, reliable, and built to evolve.

This is an opportunity to bring great software engineering and product thinking to an important part of Coca-Cola's business.

What You Will Work On

Coca-Cola's financial operations bring together sophisticated business processes, enterprise applications, and data that support how we work with customers and manage financial transactions.

You'll help build and evolve capabilities spanning customer financial interactions, billing, invoicing, reimbursements, and related financial processes. These experiences involve complex workflows, business rules, transactional systems, and integrations across a broad enterprise technology ecosystem.

You'll work with SAP and other enterprise platforms alongside modern applications, APIs, cloud technologies, and data capabilities. The technical challenges range from designing intuitive user experiences and building scalable services to connecting systems, managing complex data flows, and ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial transactions.

You don't need to have all the answers or be an expert in every underlying platform. You'll collaborate with architects, platform specialists, and engineering partners to understand existing capabilities, evaluate technical options, and determine the best approach for the product.

You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, experiment with new approaches, and help establish engineering practices that make our products better and our teams more effective.

How We Work

You'll be part of a dedicated, cross-functional product team that is:

  • Empowered to solve problems, not just build features
  • Accountable for outcomes, not just output
  • Collaborative by default, from discovery through delivery
  • Continuously learning, using data and user insight to improve

Engineering is an equal partner in product decisions. We expect engineers to bring ideas, challenge assumptions, explore possibilities, and help shape solutions from the earliest stages of discovery.

Key Responsibilities

Partner in Product Discovery & Solution Shaping

  • Work closely with Product Management, Design, and Data to understand user needs, business workflows, and the problems we're solving
  • Bring a strong technical perspective to discovery, including ideation, prototyping, experimentation, and evaluation of alternative approaches
  • Explore how existing platform capabilities, modern technologies, and thoughtful engineering can create better solutions
  • Challenge assumptions and propose approaches that simplify complexity, improve experiences, and deliver meaningful value
  • Help teams make informed decisions by balancing user needs, business value, technical feasibility, and long-term considerations

Lead Technical Direction & Architecture

  • Define and guide the technical approach, architecture, and system design for your team's products
  • Design scalable, maintainable solutions across applications, services, APIs, enterprise integrations, and supporting platforms
  • Partner with SAP specialists, architects, and other engineering teams to understand platform capabilities, constraints, and integration opportunities
  • Evaluate when to leverage existing enterprise capabilities, extend platforms, or build complementary applications and services
  • Apply modern architectural principles to create modular, secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, scalability, performance, complexity, maintainability, and cost

Own Engineering Quality & Outcomes

  • Provide hands-on engineering leadership through solution design, development, code reviews, testing, and complex technical problem-solving
  • Build and deliver high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering tools and practices
  • Establish strong practices for automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and operational reliability
  • Ensure solutions meet appropriate standards for transactional integrity, data accuracy, traceability, and performance
  • Use product performance, user feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve solutions
  • Balance iterative delivery with long-term technical health, including proactive management of technical debt

Elevate Engineering Craft & Collaboration

  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance that strengthens engineering skills, judgment, and confidence
  • Foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, constructive challenge, and continuous learning
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, architects, and platform teams to share knowledge and develop reusable approaches
  • Contribute to engineering standards, practices, and tools that improve quality and effectiveness across teams
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and the development of strong engineering talent

What We're Looking For

  • Engineering depth: Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building reliable, scalable applications
  • Architectural judgment: Ability to navigate complex technology environments, evaluate alternatives, and make thoughtful technical trade-offs
  • Enterprise integration: Understanding of how applications, platforms, APIs, and data work together across interconnected systems
  • Product mindset: Genuine curiosity about users, business problems, and why products are built
  • Hands-on technical leadership: Comfortable shaping architecture, writing code, reviewing designs, and mentoring other engineers
  • Collaboration: Able to bring together different technical perspectives and work effectively with product teams and enterprise technology partners

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including designing, building, and delivering production-grade applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Equivalent practical experience is equally valued
  • Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, software development frameworks, and engineering practices
  • Experience designing and developing applications, services, APIs, and integrations in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and integration patterns
  • Experience working with ERP or other enterprise platforms, including understanding how to integrate with and extend existing capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound architectural decisions and balance technical complexity with product and business needs
  • Experience with modern engineering practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and reliability
  • Track record of technical leadership through solution design, hands-on contribution, code reviews, and mentoring
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience engineering products or services within SAP-based enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with SAP financial technologies, such as SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, FI-CA, or related capabilities
  • Experience with SAP integration and extensibility approaches, including APIs, SAP BTP, or related technologies
  • Experience building modern applications and services that integrate with ERP, billing, financial management, or other transactional systems
  • Understanding of financial transaction processing, billing, invoicing, payments, or related business workflows
  • Experience with cloud-native application development, event-driven architectures, or modern data integration technologies
  • Experience working within empowered, cross-functional product teams and contributing to product discovery
  • Experience applying automation, analytics, or AI to enterprise products and workflows

Who Thrives Here

Engineers who:

  • Love solving hard problems and finding elegant solutions in complex environments
  • Are curious about users and the business outcomes their products enable
  • See established enterprise platforms as interesting engineering challenges rather than limitations
  • Enjoy collaborating, exploring alternatives, and challenging assumptions
  • Bring modern engineering thinking while remaining pragmatic about the realities of enterprise technology
  • Take pride in building great software, developing other engineers, and creating lasting value

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
