Join Our Team

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Head of Airfreight, Greater China to build, lead, and grow our airfreight business across the region. This is a strategic leadership role offering a unique opportunity to establish and develop a high-performing air freight organization from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and develop the Air Freight department, including organizational structure, processes, and operating procedures.
  • Define and execute annual business plans, growth strategies, and performance targets.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new air freight business opportunities across target industries.
  • Expand air freight services within existing customer accounts and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead customer engagement activities including sales presentations, quotations, negotiations, and account development.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, co-loaders, GSAs, customs brokers, warehouses, trucking providers, and overseas partners.
  • Oversee daily air freight operations, ensuring service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement KPI-driven management processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Take full ownership of departmental revenue, profitability, margin optimization, and P&L performance.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive activities to identify business opportunities and risks.

Who We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in air freight, air cargo, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, customer acquisition, and commercial leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of international air freight operations and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and negotiate effectively with customers and service providers.
  • Professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of commercial acumen with ownership mentality and accountability for business results.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business from the ground up.
  • Strong proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies.
