Job Description

At Conduent, people are at the heart of everything we do. For our operations in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager who knows how to bring people, processes and business goals together in a way that truly makes an impact.

About the role

As the HR Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth and compliant HR operations, with a strong focus on stakeholder management.

You will lead a local HR team, including 2 HR Business Partners, 2 HR Administrators and a Health & Safety Coordinator.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business and taking ownership of day-to-day HR operations while also acting as a trusted advisor to local leadership. You will work with several key stakeholders, including the Managing Director and the local management team, helping navigate organizational changes and supporting the business through an evolving environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day HR operations for our operations in Almere, Rotterdam and Tilburg;
  • Leading and supporting the local HR team;
  • Acting as a trusted HR partner to local leadership and management;
  • Supporting employee relations and organizational changes;
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and internal policies;
  • Driving consistency and continuous improvement in HR processes;
  • Participating in the local management team and contributing to business discussions;
  • Supporting reporting, audits and HR administration activities.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an HR professional who combines operational strength with maturity, ownership and strong stakeholder management skills. Someone who is approachable, reliable and comfortable working in a changing environment.

You bring:

  • Experience in a standalone or broad HR Manager role;
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration;
  • Experience working with external payroll providers;
  • Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams;
  • A pragmatic and hands-on mindset;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills;
  • Experience in dynamic or changing business environments;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is a must have.
