The posting

We're looking for an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of fire alarm, nurse call, and security system installations in commercial environments, including healthcare. You'll own the project from kickoff to closeout — managing the budget, client relationship, field team, and inspections. This is a senior role that requires someone who has actually done the work, not just managed spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Oversee all phases of low-voltage and fire life safety installations in healthcare/commercial facilities
  • Track project financials, including cost control, budget forecasting, billing, and WIP adjustments
  • Review contracts and specs to ensure deliverables align with the scope
  • Coordinate material procurement and manage delivery timelines
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact — leading meetings, providing updates, and resolving issues
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Manage pre-inspections and final inspections with the AHJ to ensure code compliance
  • Identify and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support estimators and account executives during job walks and proposals as a technical resource
  • Assign tasks, monitor team productivity, and support field technician development
  • Build and maintain client relationships that drive repeat business

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in construction and/or low-voltage installation
  • 5+ years installing low-voltage systems in healthcare/commercial environments, specifically fire life safety, is preferred.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or project management role, High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with systems such as EST, Lenel, Avigilon, DMP, Brivo, Silent Knight, Potter, and/or Ascom.
  • Valid California driver's license and current auto insurance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, drive, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Extended driving (2+ hours per shift) and regular site visits to hospitals and medical facilities, among various commercial locations.
  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments, including construction sites, commercial buildings, and live patient care areas

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $90,000 – $135,000 depending on experience
  • Medical, dental, and life insurance 401(k)
  • Paid holidays and PTO, Merit reward program, and longevity awards
  • Company-sponsored family events
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Clear path for career advancement within the organization

Why Work With Us:

Join a California leader in fire life safety and security integration, specializing in healthcare environments. Work on high-impact projects that support patient safety, backed by strong teams and full in-house capabilities from design through long-term support. We offer a collaborative, growth-focused culture with ongoing training, exposure to advanced systems like EST, Lenel, and Ascom, and clear paths for advancement. If you're looking for stability, technical depth, and meaningful work—this is it.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
