The posting

We are hiring an experienced Structural Framer / Finish Carpenter to support a technology systems company serving aerospace and government defense programs. This hands-on role builds, modifies, and maintains structural and interior components within manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, and office environments. The ideal candidate can take a set of drawings and a deadline and deliver clean, code-correct work with minimal oversight. Metal stud framing experience is strongly preferred, but seasoned wood framers with strong finish carpentry and drywall skills will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform metal stud framing (preferred) or wood framing to plan and specification, ensuring square, plumb, and code-correct structures
  • Complete finish carpentry and drywall installation and repair to a clean, professional standard
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and job specifications independently
  • Flag drawing discrepancies before they cause downstream issues
  • Coordinate with carpentry, drywall, electrical, and production teams to sequence work and avoid delays
  • Follow building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and facility security requirements
  • Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs safely across the job site
  • Work safely and efficiently in hot and cold weather conditions
  • Assist with other job-related tasks as production needs shift
  • Maintain dependable attendance and work overtime, including select weekends, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–5 years of professional framing experience
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or government contractor facilities
  • Demonstrated finish carpentry and drywall installation and repair skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and job specifications
  • Must provide own hand tools (all major tools and equipment are provided)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial metal stud framing experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working in secure or controlled-access facilities

Benefits and Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate of $22 - $25/hr based on experience
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Major tools and equipment provided

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
