This role is hands-on and travel-intensive, working with structured cabling, CCTV, AV systems, and related low-voltage infrastructure.

This position is ideal for self-motivated and reliable technicians who can work independently, troubleshoot issues in the field, and see projects through to completion. We offer long-term employment for technicians who take pride in their work and are comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-site environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform conduit installation, cable dressing, and termination in IDF/MDF cabinets
  • Install and configure CCTV systems, paging systems, AV equipment, and network devices
  • Lead small teams on multi-week projects while maintaining safety, quality, and schedules
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans
  • Operate BOOM and/or scissor lifts and work at heights of 40+ feet
  • Perform system testing and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in low-voltage cabling, industrial installations, or AV systems
  • Strong understanding of cabling infrastructure, fiber termination, and AV integration
  • Experience with Crestron, AMX, DSP programming, and audio calibration is a plus
  • Industry certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, MSHA, AVIXA CTS, Panduit, Belden, or Corning are highly desirable
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the past 3 years)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must provide basic telecom tools and PPE
  • Comfortable working independently and leading small teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively (4–6 weeks at a time) and work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends

What We Offer

  • Full-time, steady work
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($20–$38/hr)
  • Paid weekly
  • Per diem when overnight travel is required
  • Company-provided cell phone
  • Company vehicle provided in some cases after initial 2–4 months of employment
  • Paid drive time and mileage when using a personal vehicle for work travel
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Opportunities for certifications and career advancement
  • Supportive team environment

Benefits (Company-Paid)

  • Medical, dental, prescription, and vision coverage (no premium cost)
  • Life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance
  • MD Live & TriaHealth

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
