Als Senior OpenShift Engineer bij Conflux Consulting help je organisaties bij het ontwerpen, bouwen en optimaliseren van moderne enterprise platformen op basis van Red Hat OpenShift. Je opereert op het snijvlak van platform engineering, cloud, infrastructuur en DevOps.

Je bent niet alleen uitvoerend sterk, maar ook inhoudelijk richtinggevend. Je adviseert klanten over platformarchitectuur, containerisatie, automatisering, security en schaalbaarheid. Je bouwt en optimaliseert productieklare OpenShift-platformen en zorgt dat deze veilig, betrouwbaar en toekomstbestendig zijn.

Tegelijkertijd bouw je mee aan onze groeiende Platform Engineering practice. Binnen deze practice brengen we verschillende specialismen rondom Kubernetes, OpenShift, cloud-native technologie en platform automation samen. Vanuit jouw OpenShift-expertise lever je een belangrijke bijdrage aan de verdere ontwikkeling van onze kennis, dienstverlening en technische standaarden.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Ontwerpen, implementeren en optimaliseren van Red Hat OpenShift-platformen
  • Bouwen en beheren van OpenShift-omgevingen in complexe productie- en enterprise-omgevingen
  • Adviseren over platformarchitectuur, containerstrategie en cloud-native oplossingen
  • Automatiseren van infrastructuur, deployments en platformbeheer
  • Opzetten en optimaliseren van CI/CD pipelines en GitOps-implementaties
  • Inrichten van observability, monitoring, logging en tracing
  • Implementeren van security, policies en access management binnen OpenShift
  • Analyseren en oplossen van complexe performance-, schaalbaarheids- en beschikbaarheidsvraagstukken
  • Begeleiden van DevOps-, platform- en engineeringteams
  • Actief bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de Platform Engineering practice binnen Conflux Consulting
  • Minimaal een afgeronde HBO Bachelor opleiding, bij voorkeur in Informatica, Software Engineering, Technische Informatica of vergelijkbaar
  • Minimaal 5+ jaar ervaring in Cloud, DevOps en/of Platform Engineering
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met bedrijfskritische productieomgevingen op schaal
  • Diepgaande hands-on ervaring met Red Hat OpenShift in enterprise-omgevingen
  • Sterke kennis van Kubernetes en containerisatie
  • Ervaring met het installeren, configureren, beheren en upgraden van OpenShift-clusters
  • Ervaring met CI/CD en Infrastructure as Code, bijvoorbeeld Terraform en/of Ansible
  • Ervaring met Helm
  • Kennis van Linux (RHEL), networking en cloud-native architecturen
  • Ervaring met het automatiseren en beheren van platformen
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en consultancy-ervaring
  • Vermogen om complexe technische vraagstukken helder uit te leggen aan zowel engineers als stakeholders

  • Red Hat-certificeringen, bijvoorbeeld RHCSA, RHCE en/of OpenShift-certificeringen
  • CKA en/of CKS certificering
  • Ervaring met GitOps, bijvoorbeeld Argo CD
  • Ervaring met observability tooling zoals Prometheus, Grafana en ELK
  • Ervaring met OpenShift security, RBAC, network policies en security hardening
  • Ervaring met Operators en Operator Lifecycle Manager
  • Ervaring met OpenShift Virtualization
  • Ervaring met Container Network Interfaces (CNI) binnen Kubernetes, bijvoorbeeld Multus of Calico
  • Ervaring met Container Storage Interfaces (CSI) binnen Kubernetes, bijvoorbeeld ODS of AWS EBSErvaring met hybrid-cloud- en/of on-premise omgevingen
  • Ervaring met AWS, Azure en/of GCP
  • Ervaring met databases, bijvoorbeeld PostgreSQL, MongoDB
  • Ervaring met Messaging en Event streaming, bijvoorbeeld met Kafka
  • Scripting met Bash en/of Python
