Responsibilities
Drive sales in the assigned territory (mainly Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets) and meet sales targets. Build strong relationships with customers and distributors while growing the business in the region. Carry out clinical and sales activities to meet customer and business needs.
Job Summary:
Independently manage sales and grow the business in the assigned territory by working closely with customers and distributors.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Sales & Customer Management
- Manage leads, customers, and distributors within the assigned territory
- Convert leads into closed deals independently
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships
- Deliver product demonstrations and customer education
Distributor Management
- Build effective working relationships with distributors in the assigned region
- Monitor distributor performance and drive accountability
Sales Pipeline & Growth
- Own and manage the sales pipeline for the assigned territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize revenue
Commercial & Clinical Execution
- Execute clinical and marketing activities to drive demand generation
- Stay updated with product and clinical knowledge to support customer engagement
Operational Management
- Plan and manage inventory forecasting for the territory
- Track competitor activities and market trends
- Ensure timely payment collection
Travel:
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Travel requirement: Approximately 30–40%
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and local language
Work Environment:
- Hybrid
Experience:
- 2–4 years of sales experience in MedTech/Devices/Pharma/Life Sciences preferred
- Experience in working with reputed national/international companies is a plus
Education:
- Minimum Graduate
- Degree in engineering, science, or business is preferred
