Descripción del puesto

Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de un/a: Jefe de seguridad ocupacional y medio ambiente.

Propósito: Garantizar una gestión integral y preventiva de Seguridad Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente en la institución educativa, mediante la identificación y control de riesgos, el cumplimiento de los requisitos legales y la promoción de una cultura de prevención, contribuyendo a un entorno educativo seguro, saludable y ambientalmente responsable.

Funciones:

  • Planificar, elaborar y actualizar el Plan y Programa Anual de Seguridad Ocupacional y Medio Ambiente, definiendo objetivos, metas, actividades e indicadores, en concordancia con los lineamientos institucionales y la normativa vigente.
  • Gestionar los riesgos de seguridad: identificar peligros, evaluar riesgos y establecer controles para las actividades académicas, administrativas, operativas, de mantenimiento y servicios, promoviendo condiciones seguras para estudiantes, docentes, colaboradores, contratistas y visitantes.
  • Supervisar las condiciones de seguridad: inspeccionar aulas, laboratorios, talleres, áreas deportivas, oficinas, zonas comunes y demás instalaciones, así como las actividades académicas, deportivas, culturales y eventos institucionales, disponiendo las medidas preventivas necesarias.
  • Promover la salud ocupacional: coordinar acciones de vigilancia de la salud y prevención de riesgos ergonómicos, físicos, químicos, biológicos y psicosociales, fomentando ambientes laborales saludables.
  • Investigar accidentes e incidentes: Analizar los eventos ocurridos, determinar sus causas y establecer acciones correctivas y preventivas, verificando su ejecución y efectividad.
  • Fortalecer la cultura preventiva: diseñar y coordinar programas de inducción, capacitación y sensibilización dirigidos a colaboradores y contratistas, orientados a fortalecer comportamientos seguros y el conocimiento de los estándares de Seguridad ocupacional y medio ambiente.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento y la mejora del sistema: verificar el cumplimiento de los requisitos legales y estándares internos, coordinar auditorías e inspecciones, analizar indicadores y proponer oportunidades de mejora.
  • Informar a la Dirección sobre el desempeño de seguridad ocupacional y medio ambiente: Liderar la revisión periódica del Sistema de Gestión, presentando resultados, indicadores, riesgos y oportunidades de mejora que contribuyan a la toma de decisiones institucionales.
  • Desempeñar otras responsabilidades que se le asigne dentro del ámbito de sus funciones.

Requisitos

  • Profesional universitario titulado en Ingeniería de Seguridad, Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Ambiental, Ingeniería de Higiene y Seguridad Industrial o carreras afines.
  • Deseable especialización, diplomado o maestría en: Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, Gestión de Riesgos, Gestión Ambiental, Sistemas Integrados de Gestión y Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
  • Experiencia mayor a 10 años en Seguridad, Salud Ocupacional y/o Medio Ambiente.
  • Deseable experiencia en organizaciones educativas, instituciones con alta afluencia de personas, infraestructura compleja o servicios multisede.
  • Experiencia en gestión de contratistas y proveedores.
  • Experiencia en preparación y respuesta ante emergencias.
