Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles. Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Inspecting linens and uniforms to ensure they are clean, stain-free, and guest-ready. Keeping work areas organized, clean, and stocked with needed supplies. Working in a fast-paced environment where organization and attention to detail are important. Supporting Housekeeping and other departments by ensuring clean linen inventory is readily available. Monitoring supplies, chemicals, and linen inventory to help maintain smooth operations. Identifying and reporting equipment issues, safety concerns, or damaged linens. Following safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices. Contributing to a team environment where everyone works together to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

You understand that every clean towel, sheet, and uniform contributes to the guest experience. You take pride in producing quality work and maintaining high standards. You can work independently while also supporting the needs of the larger Housekeeping team. You are dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks throughout your shift. You pay close attention to detail and recognize the importance of cleanliness and presentation. You follow established procedures and safety guidelines consistently. You communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational needs. You bring a positive attitude and a service-focused mindset to work each day.

Education and Experience

Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of proper laundry chemical handling and safety procedures preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently. Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sorting, folding, and pressing linens. Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment safely. Ability to work in warm, humid laundry environments. Ability to safely handle cleaning agents, detergents, and laundry chemicals according to established procedures. Ability to maintain productivity and attention to detail in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
