Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred), plus three to five years of relevant tax experience; a combination of public accounting and corporate in-house tax experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance, transfer pricing, intercompany settlements, and income tax provision, and a demonstrated ability to manage third-party service providers, including scoping work, reviewing deliverables, and managing budgets and timelines.
  • Strong Excel skills (familiarity with NetSuite preferred) and comfort leveraging AI tools and technology to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-border/global teams.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail, a strong willingness to learn and take on new tax projects and areas of responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review indirect tax filings (VAT/GST/Sales & Use Tax, property tax, etc.) across applicable jurisdictions, ensuring timely, accurate reporting in compliance with local regulations, and reconcile indirect tax accounts; prepare and file FBAR and other foreign asset/account reporting.
  • Manage and monitor intercompany transactions and settlements across entities, ensuring balances are accurately recorded and reconciled in line with transfer pricing policies; perform TP calculations and true-up analyses per intercompany agreements and assist with TP documentation and supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate corporate income tax return preparation with external tax vendors, including managing information requests, reviewing returns and workpapers, and tracking filing deadlines; manage third-party tax advisor relationships, including deliverables, timelines, and budgets, serving as the primary point of contact for outsourced tax work.
  • Support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations under ASC 740 and other applicable standards; assist with tax authority information requests and audit queries, including audit defense documentation; support special studies such as R&D tax credits and Section 382 ownership change/NOL limitation analyses, and other ad hoc projects as they arise.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of tax processes, workpapers, and reporting; partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Treasury, and work closely with regional and global tax colleagues.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
