Job Description:

Resumen del Puesto**

Operar equipos de empacado (baler) de manera segura y eficiente, asegurando el correcto procesamiento y embalaje de materiales reciclables o desechos, contribuyendo al orden y la limpieza de la planta.

Responsabilidades del Puesto**

* Operar y monitorear la máquina empacadora (baler) de acuerdo con los procedimientos operativos estándar y las directrices de seguridad. * Cargar materiales en la empacadora de forma manual o con equipo auxiliar (ej. montacargas, si aplica y se cuenta con certificación). * Asegurar que los fardos (bales) se formen correctamente, tengan el peso y las dimensiones especificadas y estén atados de forma segura. * Realizar inspecciones visuales de los materiales para identificar posibles contaminantes o artículos no conformes. * Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada, incluyendo la limpieza de la empacadora y sus alrededores. * Reportar cualquier mal funcionamiento del equipo, problema de mantenimiento o condición insegura al supervisor de inmediato. * Colaborar con el equipo para garantizar un flujo de trabajo eficiente y el cumplimiento de los objetivos de producción. * Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa.

Cualificaciones del Puesto**

* Educación secundaria o equivalente. * Experiencia previa en la operación de maquinaria industrial, preferiblemente empacadoras o equipos similares. * Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de planta de fabricación, que puede incluir exposición a polvo, ruido y temperaturas variables. * Habilidad para levantar objetos pesados y realizar trabajo físico de forma repetitiva. * Atención al detalle y capacidad para seguir instrucciones verbales y escritas. * Disposición para trabajar en turnos rotativos, fines de semana y días festivos según sea necesario. * Compromiso con la seguridad en el lugar de trabajo. * Conocimientos básicos de mantenimiento preventivo de equipos (deseable). * Licencia de montacargas vigente (deseable, si aplica a las funciones específicas de la planta).
