  • Contribute to software risk analysis, hazard identification, and mitigation verification.
  • Ensure traceability between user needs, requirements, design outputs, code, test cases, test results, and risk controls.
  • Support design controls, design reviews, verification activities, and design transfer in accordance with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
  • Identify quality and compliance risks and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.

  • Balance agile development velocity with medical device regulatory rigor and documentation requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers to ensure requirements are testable, measurable, and aligned with intended use and regulatory expectations.
  • Work with engineering teams to resolve defects, improve testability, and enhance software quality.
  • Liaise with regulatory affairs and clinical teams to ensure software verification and validation activities support regulatory submissions and clinical evidence requirements.
  • Communicate quality status, project risks, testing progress, and quality metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software quality engineering, software testing, or software verification and validation roles.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
