A DB1 Global Software é a unidade do Grupo DB1 que desenvolve software sob demanda para clientes no Brasil e no exterior. Estamos estruturando um novo papel de liderança técnica: o Engineering Manager (EM).

Você vai atuar num trio de gestão: ao seu lado, uma pessoa cuida do relacionamento e da entrega para o cliente (Value Delivery Manager) e outra cuida da alocação e da trilha de carreira do time (Staff Manager). Seu papel nesse trio é a liderança de pessoas das frentes de tecnologia: Tech Leads, desenvolvedores, QAs, Data Engineers e DevOps.

Como Engineering Manager, você assume a referência técnica e de gestão de uma frente de tecnologia. No dia a dia, você remove gargalos antes que virem atraso, é a última instância técnica nas entregas (arquitetura, estimativas, code review) e conduz a gestão formal do time: 1:1s, feedback, plano de desenvolvimento e mediação de conflito. Ao mesmo tempo, acompanha custo e composição do time pra manter os compromissos sustentáveis.

Nos primeiros meses, a prioridade é levar o modelo AI First pro time de desenvolvimento e melhorar os indicadores operacionais da frente.

Perfil que buscamos

  • Atuação prévia como Engineering Manager ou em posição equivalente, combinando gestão de pessoas com referência técnica de um time de tecnologia
  • Profundidade em pelo menos uma stack principal de mercado, back-end ou front-end
  • Já trabalhou com arquitetura e design de aplicações distribuídas
  • Aplica boas práticas de desenvolvimento (SOLID, Clean Code) e processos de qualidade (Sonar, linters, code review) no dia a dia
  • Testes automatizados fazem parte da sua rotina: unitários, integração e E2E
  • Vivência com CI/CD e deploy de aplicações em nuvem
  • Gestão de fluxo e metodologias ágeis (Scrum, Kanban) com base em dados, não em percepção
  • Sabe estimar e planejar entregas com lastro, e reconhece (e recusa) compromisso insustentável quando necessário
  • Já geriu custo e composição de time
  • Experiência conduzindo gestão formal de pessoas: 1:1, feedback, desenvolvimento e condução de conversa difícil
  • Traduz risco técnico para linguagem de negócio com clareza
  • Quando percebe risco de atraso, mantém o cliente (ou quem o representa) informado proativamente, busca alternativas com o time antes de renegociar prazo, e nunca deixa o problema chegar ao cliente sem antes ter tentado resolver internamente
  • Quando precisa decidir sob pressão, é capaz de dizer não ao cliente ou ao time quando é o melhor pro projeto, mesmo gerando desconforto, e não evita a conversa difícil

Vai ser incrível se você souber ou tiver vontade de aprender

  • Inglês para contexto de negócio, já que a DB1 Global Software atende clientes internacionais
  • Certificação Agile @ Scale (SAFe ou LeSS)
  • Gestão administrativa de pessoas: férias, ponto, banco de horas e escala
  • Análise de dados operacionais para gestores
  • IA aplicada à engenharia: geração, revisão e teste de código, e condução do time no modelo AI First
  • Formação superior completa em tecnologia da informação
