Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a seasonal Residence Coordinator to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Residence Coordinator, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the housing facilities at the property.

Unit Description

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers. We offer dorm-style employee housing or full-hookup RV sites. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park for our team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide associates residing in company housing a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
  • Clean public areas, rooms, restrooms and stores according to department procedures and guidelines
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash waste and recycling to disposal area
  • Conduct walk-around of assigned areas to assure that the facility meets housekeeping standards
  • Assists guests and team members, escalating concerns or questions to supervisor or manager as needed
  • Assist management in organizing team member engagement events and programs
  • Report maintenance repair problems to Supervisor
  • Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged on a daily basis
  • Replenish supplies, keep all linen rooms and work areas neat, clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to deescalated guest and team member complaints or concerns and redirect to management
  • Demonstrated judgement to appropriately use management chain of command
  • Previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred
  • Experience arranging recognition events or programs preferred
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures
  • Ability to solve problems and work quickly under pressure
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • Ability to flex work schedule as needed which may include weekend or evening hours

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Constant sitting, lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions
  • Frequent walking and standing for entire length of shift
