Overview

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Retail Stocker to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As a Retail Stocker, you will be responsible for ensuring the store floor is always organized, stocked, and clean. If you like a fast-paced job, working with and serving guests from all over the world, and want to experience hands-on learning, our Parks and Resorts team invites you to apply today.

Unit Description

Yellowstone General Stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park including near Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and Canyon Village. The locations offer the opportunity to explore more than 1000 miles of hiking trails, 40 waterfalls, and 10,000 hydro-thermal features like hot springs and geysers. We offer dorm-style employee housing or full-hookup RV sites. We also offer an employee meal program, store discounts, and recreational activities in Yellowstone National Park for our team members.

Responsibilities

  • Works to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures
  • Monitors the store floor, and assists with guests' needs and requests
  • Unload merchandise and stock shelves with items
  • Mark items with individual identification codes and place excess products in storage rooms
  • Make sure that no expired or damaged items are on the shelf
  • Carry out occasional minor repairs and report damages to store property
  • Merchandise products on shelves, tables, and apparel racks
  • Regularly clean fixtures, displays, and the sales floor
  • Cross-train and perform other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organized, with strong attention to detail
  • No experience or diploma required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Able to walk up and down stairs multiple times a day
