Als SOC adviseur haal je energie uit het beschermen van grote en belangrijke organisaties in Nederland tegen cyberaanvallen. Je adviseert hen over de beste manier om een SOC en CERT te runnen samen met ons D&R‑adviesteam, maar biedt waar nodig ook hands‑on ondersteuning. Bij Deloitte.

Vacatureomschrijving

  • Leiden van projecten gericht op het verbeteren van de Cyber Detection & Response-capaciteiten van onze klanten.
  • Opzetten en aansturen van projecten voor onze klanten, voornamelijk in Nederland, zoals SOC-transformaties, het bepalen van SOC-strategieën, het ontwerpen van technische architecturen en het leiden van technische teams bij het bouwen van SOC-capabilities.
  • Adviseren over, en ontwerpen van innovatieve SOC-tools en technieken voor klanten in hybride IT-omgevingen, en hen helpen een dreigingsgeïnformeerde verdedigingsaanpak te adopteren.
  • Deelnemen aan een hecht en ambitieuze groep Detect & Respond-adviseurs, SOC-analisten, security architecten, engineers, Cyber Strategy-adviseurs en ervaren threat hunters in Nederland.
  • De kans krijgen om de toekomst van ons advieswerk mede vorm te geven en vrijheid hebben om je eigen proposities te ontwikkelen.
  • De mogelijkheid om nauw samen te werken met ons ervaren red team en te experimenteren met de nieuwste aanval- en detectietechnieken.
  • Werken met state-of-the-art technologieën op het gebied van SIEM, EDR, NDR, UEBA, BAS, GenAI en SOAR.

Functie-eisen

Je hebt een affiniteit met technologie en een achtergrond in Security Operations‑advies, ontwerp of operatie en wilt deze expertise inzetten om klanten te adviseren. Je werkt graag in een dynamische omgeving waar je mee kunt bepalen wat we doen en je eigen koers kunt varen. Daarnaast breng je voor de rol van SOC‑adviseur ook het volgende mee:

  • 3-5 jaar relevante werkervaring, bijvoorbeeld in een cybersecurity-adviesfunctie of in een SOC.
  • Sterke communicatie- en consultancy skills. Je bent het primaire aanspreekpunt voor onze klanten en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor de kwaliteit van onze eindresultaten.
  • Ervaring met gangbare en next-generation SOC-technologieën en inzicht in hoe deze technologieën ingezet kunnen worden om detectie & response te verbeteren in verschillende IT-architecturen.
  • Kennis van 'what good looks like' voor Cyber Detection & Response en het vermogen om klanten concrete verbeteradviezen te geven.
  • Een uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels in woord en geschrift.

Als onderdeel van ons Cyber-team van meer dan 250 professionals die organisaties helpen zichzelf te verdedigen tegen cyberaanvallen, maak je deel uit van ons Cyber Defense, Resilience, and Operate-team. Dit team bestaat uit een mix van strategische adviseurs en hands-on technische experts zoals detection engineers, threat hunters, en incidentresponders. Deze combinatie van praktijkervaring in het detecteren van dreigingen en onze adviesvaardigheden stelt ons in staat klanten te ondersteunen bij het naar een hoger niveau tillen van hun Security operations, van strategisch advies tot hands-on implementatie.
