Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, or large-scale change programmes would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Conduct supplier and contract mapping exercises to establish visibility of third-party relationships, contractual obligations, risks, and dependencies.
  3. Assess existing procurement and supplier management processes, identifying control gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Design, implement, and enhance procurement governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating procedures.
  5. Drive Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, ensuring appropriate risk assessment, oversight, and governance frameworks are in place.
  6. Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, governance reviews, remediation activities, and ongoing supplier lifecycle management.
  7. Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Operational teams to ensure successful integration of suppliers and third-party arrangements.
  8. Develop and implement target operating models across Procurement and Supplier Management functions.
  9. Manage procurement-related remediation and control enhancement initiatives arising from audits, risk reviews, or integration assessments.
  10. Provide subject matter expertise on procurement governance, supplier risk, outsourcing controls, and vendor management best practices.
  11. Produce regular updates, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
  12. Ensure procurement and third-party activities are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and organisational risk appetite.
  13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen procurement efficiency, governance, and supplier performance.

Essential Skills & Experience

  1. Extensive end-to-end Procurement experience within a Financial Services environment.
  2. Strong Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) experience, including the design, implementation, and enhancement of governance frameworks and controls.
  3. Proven experience across supplier governance, vendor management, contract management, and procurement operations.
  4. Demonstrable experience developing and implementing procurement policies, standards, controls, and target operating models.
  5. Strong understanding of supplier lifecycle management, including onboarding, due diligence, performance management, and remediation activities.
  6. Experience working within highly regulated Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or FinTech organisations.
  7. Proven ability to lead complex procurement transformation, change, or control enhancement initiatives.
  8. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior business, risk, legal, and operational stakeholders.
  9. Experience identifying and mitigating third-party risks and driving appropriate remediation actions.
  10. Excellent project delivery and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  11. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Experience :

  1. M&A integration, separation, carve-out, or transition programme experience.
  2. Technology, Payments, or FinTech procurement category expertise.
  3. Experience supporting procurement integration activities following acquisitions or corporate restructuring.
  4. Knowledge of outsourcing regulations and third-party risk frameworks within Financial Services.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
