Your mission

Help us scale the next generation of plastic recycling technology!

As a Technical Project Engineer, you will lead cross-functional technology development projects from early-stage R&D through industrial implementation and manufacturing scale-up.

You will act as the technical and project coordination lead across multiple initiatives, working closely with R&D, engineering, production, quality, suppliers, and external partners to transform innovative concepts into scalable industrial solutions. This role is ideal for a technically strong generalist who enjoys connecting people, driving execution, and bringing complex industrial technologies to life.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead technical assessments related to conceiving, designing, prototyping, validating, and scaling new technology and product concepts
  • Translate market requirements, business objectives, and customer needs into clear, quantifiable, and scalable engineering specifications
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across R&D, engineering, production, and quality functions
  • Drive the development and validation of technical solutions from laboratory testing through pilot and commercial-scale manufacturing
  • Support the transfer of technologies and process designs from R&D into industrial implementation
  • Define project priorities, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation aligned with company objectives
  • Coordinate suppliers, manufacturing partners, and external engineering contractors throughout the development lifecycle
  • Act as a central technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure projects progress efficiently toward technical and commercial milestones
  • As applicable, mentor or guide associate engineers, technicians, and quality staff

Your profile

  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
  • 5–8+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology-driven environments
  • Experience coordinating technical development or industrial projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project and partner management experience in fast-paced, value-driven environments
  • Exposure to product development, process development, equipment development, or technology scale-up projects
  • Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, or engineering contractors is highly desirable
  • Comfortable managing projects across a matrix organization without direct authority
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving project needs
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and execution-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
  • Have a Swiss working permit or be Eligible to work in Switzerland
