Als Junior Global Sales Manager ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, ontwikkelen en verder uitbouwen van een internationale portefeuille van bedrijven, voornamelijk reisorganisaties zoals reisagenten, busbedrijven, MICE-organisaties en touroperators. Als commercieel aanspreekpunt weet je nieuwe klanten aan ons te binden en bestaande relaties verder uit te bouwen. Door actief relatiemanagement, commerciële opvolging en het signaleren van nieuwe kansen draag je bij aan omzetgroei en een sterke marktpositie van DFDS binnen de passagiersmarkt. Het betreft geen leidinggevende functie; jouw focus ligt volledig op sales, accountmanagement, commerciële ontwikkeling en het opbouwen van duurzame klantrelaties.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Beheren en ontwikkelen van een portfolio van kleine tot middelgrote accounts binnen Nederland en (Nederlandstalig) België
  • Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke relaties met bestaande en nieuwe B2B klanten, voornamelijk in de reissector.
  • Identificeren van commerciële kansen binnen nieuwe en bestaande klantrelaties en bijdragen aan omzetgroei.
  • Uitvoeren van regelmatige klantbezoeken, productpresentaties en trainingen om de kennis en betrokkenheid van partners te vergroten.
  • Organiseren en begeleiden van scheepsbezoeken, kennismakingsreizen (fam trips), evenementen en promotionele activiteiten.
  • Onderhandelen over commerciële afspraken en bijdragen aan langdurige samenwerkingen.
  • Vertegenwoordigen van DFDS tijdens beurzen, netwerkbijeenkomsten en branche-evenementen.
  • Samenwerken met interne stakeholders om commerciële kansen optimaal te benutten en klanten de best mogelijke ondersteuning te bieden.

Wat zoeken wij?

  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • HBO werk- en denkniveau.
  • Ervaring binnen sales, accountmanagement, business development of de reisbranche is een pre.
  • Affiniteit met de reis-, toerisme- of transportsector.
  • Bereidheid om regelmatig klanten en evenementen te bezoeken, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
  • Commercieel ingesteld en gedreven om resultaten te behalen.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om duurzame relaties op te bouwen.
  • Proactief, zelfstandig en goed in staat om meerdere accounts tegelijkertijd te beheren.
