Ben jij klaar voor een rol met internationale impact? Als Shipping Coördinator bij DFDS Logistics ben jij het centrale aanspreekpunt binnen het containervervoer op onze routes naar Ierland en Noorwegen. Je begeleidt het logistieke verschepingsproces voor uiteenlopende goederenstromen, zoals bierladingen, bouwonderdelen, gevaarlijke stoffen (IMDG), meubelen en projectzendingen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat alle transporten volgens planning, specificaties en veiligheids- en douaneregels worden uitgevoerd.

Je bent het vaste aanspreekpunt voor zowel interne als externe ketenpartners, waaronder terminals, rederijen, transporteurs, douane, havenautoriteiten, klanten en collega-afdelingen. Je schakelt tijdig, denkt vooruit, anticipeert op risico’s of verstoringen en borgt dat documentatie, data en communicatie correct, volledig en actueel zijn.

Je werkt nauw samen met een klein, hecht team van drie collega’s en rapporteert direct aan de Team Lead Shipping & Equipment. In deze rol heb je veel verantwoordelijkheid, diversiteit, internationale dynamiek en zie je direct wat jouw handelen betekent voor de operatie en klanttevredenheid.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je begeleidt en bewaakt het complete verschepingsproces van inkomende en uitgaande containerzendingen, van orderaanname tot correcte aflevering
  • Je stelt, controleert en verstuurt transport-, compliance- en douanedocumenten, waaronder IMDG-gerelateerde documentatie indien van toepassing
  • Je verwerkt orders tijdig, foutloos en volledig in de systemen en ziet toe op correcte data- en statusregistratie
  • Je houdt real-time contact met terminals, rederijen en transportpartners over ladingstatus, tijdslijnen, vertragingen of afwijkingen
  • Je signaleert verstoringen (zoals planningafwijkingen, weersomstandigheden, vertragingen of equipment-issues) en neemt zelfstandig actie waar nodig
  • Je stemt verwachtingen en besluiten proactief af met klanten en interne stakeholders
  • Je draagt bij aan procesverbetering en continue optimalisatie van werkafspraken, documentflows en compliance-borging

Wat zoeken wij?

  • Je beschikt over overtuigingskracht, een proactieve en creatieve werkstijl en uitstekende interpersoonlijke vaardigheden.
  • Je hebt een MBO 4 werk- en denkniveau met relevante ervaring, of een HBO-diploma als starter.
  • Je communiceert uitstekend in zowel Nederlands als Engels.
  • Je bent klant- en servicegericht, denkt minimaal twee stappen vooruit en lost problemen effectief op.
  • Je bent flexibel inzetbaar voor vrijdagavond- en weekenddiensten.
