Over de functie

Als Terminal Operator voer je op efficiënte en correcte wijze werkzaamheden uit die te maken hebben met het laden en lossen van onze schepen. Samen met het team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het behalen van optimale resultaten onder uiteenlopende omstandigheden, waarbij veiligheid en klantgerichtheid centraal staan. Je denkt proactief mee over oplossingen en draagt bij aan het verbeteren van procedures op de terminal. Je rapporteert aan de dienstdoende leidinggevende en zorgt ervoor dat je onderstaande kernactiviteiten uitvoert:

  • Het veilig en efficiënt bedienen van een tugmaster voor het laden en lossen van trailers aan boord van schepen.
  • Het begeleiden van stuwagechauffeurs door het geven van duidelijke instructies.
  • Het vastzetten van lading aan dek met behulp van spanmateriaal.
  • Het meren en ontmeren van schepen.

  • Een uitstekend salaris op basis van de cao DFDS Seaways schaal Poolmedewerker C van €3.536,53 - €5.052,19 per maand, plus een ploegentoeslag van 36,78%
  • Zeer goede secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, waaronder 25 vakantiedagen, 13,5 ADV-dagen, een vakantietoeslag van 1,3 maandsalaris en een bijdrage aan de ziektekostenverzekering
  • Fulltime functie (38,75 uur per week) met afwisselend ochtend-, avond- en nachtdiensten (07.00-15.30 uur, 15.30-23.45 en 03.00–11.15 uur).
