Location: Gulberg Lahore, Pakistan (On-Site)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM Pakistan Time

About the Role

As a Senior Bookkeeper/Accountant, you will own the books for a portfolio of US-based clients, keeping financials clean, current, and audit-ready. This is a client-facing role in which you will work directly with business owners and their teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including transaction categorization and bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for multiple clients
  • Complete month-end close and prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Liaise with clients to resolve coding questions and gather missing information
  • Support CPA and tax preparation teams at year-end with clean books and schedules
  • Proactively identify and flag anomalies and communicate them without being asked

Requirements

  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a multi-client or accounting firm environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO); QBO certification is a plus
  • Solid understanding of accrual-basis and cash-basis accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients
  • Clear written and verbal English communication for regular client interaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with US-based clients or in a BPO/outsourcing accounting firm
  • Familiarity with Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, or Rippling
  • Exposure to nonprofits or PE/VC-backed companies
