Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Team Lead – UI/UX Designer to lead our design initiatives and drive user-centered experiences across digital products. The ideal candidate should have worked as a Senior UI/UX Designer, Lead UI/UX Designer, or in a similar leadership role, with a strong understanding of product design, user experience, and design systems.

The candidate should possess a strong and impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, problem-solving, product thinking, and the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from research and ideation to wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and final implementation. Define and execute UI/UX strategies aligned with product, user, and business objectives. Understand user needs, business requirements, and product challenges to develop effective design solutions. Conduct user research, usability testing, competitor analysis, and design validation wherever required. Create user flows, information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. Develop and maintain scalable design systems, UI guidelines, and reusable components. Ensure consistency in design, usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall user experience across platforms. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Lead design discussions, presentations, and reviews with internal and external stakeholders. Review designs and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to design standards. Mentor, guide, and support junior and mid-level designers, fostering creativity and professional growth within the team. Manage multiple design projects and prioritize deliverables based on business and product requirements. Stay updated with emerging UI/UX trends, design tools, AI-powered design solutions, and industry best practices. Contribute to improving the organization's overall design processes, standards, and design culture.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Strong expertise in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, and Design Thinking. Proficiency in Figma is essential; experience with Adobe XD, Sketch, or other design/prototyping tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability principles. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and high-fidelity designs. Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles. Experience in creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries. Good understanding of accessibility and usability standards. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts. Strong visual design skills, including typography, color, layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy. Ability to convert complex business requirements into simple, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences. Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Leadership and mentoring capabilities with the ability to guide a design team.

Required Experience & Profile

  • 6–7 years of professional experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or a related field. Candidates should preferably have worked as a Senior UI/UX Designer, Lead UI/UX Designer, UI/UX Lead, or in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in leading design projects and mentoring designers. Strong understanding of the complete design lifecycle, from discovery to development handoff and implementation. Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with a user-first approach. Excellent portfolio is mandatory and should demonstrate relevant UI/UX projects, design thinking, problem-solving, and product design capabilities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field is preferred.
