The posting

POSITION TITLE: IOT (Java + AWS) Tech Lead

REPORTS TO: IOT TECH LEAD (INDIA)

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Responsible for the requirement analysis, solution design, traditional system cloud migration,

and data cloud migration design of cloud service solutions.

2. Work closely with the global teams to complete the implementation and delivery of IoT projects,

and regularly synchronize the progress with architect's / leaders.

3. As a Tech lead [for Java + Cloud] solutions, develop AWS architecture design solutions based on

the needs, work with leads / managers to develop a reasonable pricing plan.

4. Design an operation and maintenance plan based on AWS cloud platform and support the daily

operation and maintenance work.

5. Closely work with diverse team of developers, stake holders and vendors across locations.

6. Guide and collaborate with vendor support teams for deploying & configuring IoT based

solutions

7. Build and adopt best development practices in Agile/ scrum IOT team

8. Implement DevOps practices, perform code reviews and guide development teams

9. Technically handle multiple projects simultaneously

10. Help developers, test team and support personnel for troubleshooting customer issues.

11. Build proof of concepts and demonstrate technology feasibility of Innovative solutions.

12. Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.

13. Participate in design and code reviews/inspections.

14. Provide input to technical discussions; propose solutions and alternatives.

15. Strong in problem solving, Analyzing, troubleshooting approaches.

16. Writing and executing unit tests.

17. Developing proof-of-concept; Providing work estimates

18. Provide required support to product teams as needed to determine system problems and fix.

EXPERIENCE: 9 to 11+ years

Minimum 7-9 Years of experience in the field of Application Development (Java) is required

Minimum 2-3 years of experience with AWS environment, AWS based Architecture design,

Microservices / SOA architecture design.

SKILLS:

Required -

1. At least 2-3 years of industry experience in the AWS platform.

2. Proficient in VPC, IoT core, Serverless development, EC2, and database service components,

with experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting AWS cloud platform

environments

3. Experienced in Cloud computing, Hybrid cloud planning, architecture, migration, security and

other work and solutions.

4. Should have knowledge of AWS services and coding best practices.

5. Experienced as a development engineer, with experience in design-patterns, data structure,

OOPS.

6. Good team spirit and communication skills, good English reading, writing and speaking skills.

7. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

8. Strong knowledge of Agile and scrum process.

9. Should have 7-9 years of experience in Java technologies.

10. Minimum 2-3 years of experience of AWS development & deployment.

11. Hands-on experience on Java Application development tools, Code review and build process

12. Experience in design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.

13. Should be able to guide team, review and drive independently.

14. Should have worked on DEVOPS, CICD tools like Jenkins, Understand CI/CD, capable of

architecture and deployment on AWS.

15. Should have strong knowledge of containers, dockers & AWS software configuration &

deployments.

16. Knowledge of software development life cycle. Use of UML, sequence diagrams

17. Code repository like GITHUB usage experience

18. Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology

19. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

20. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

21. Experience of working with globally distributed teams.

Good To Have -

1. AWS Solution Architect Professional certification is preferred

2. Understand automated deployment tools, CloudFormation/Terraform, Ansible, etc;
