Als freelance eindredacteur vorm je de schakel tussen journalist en lezer. Je bepaalt in overleg het belang, de insteek, de vorm en de opbouw van regionale artikels. Het werk van de journalist gaat vervolgens eerst door jouw handen en wordt aangepast waar nodig, zowel voor onze website hln.be als voor de printversie van Het Laatste Nieuws. Ben je voorts flexibel en schrikt zondagswerk je niet af? Dan ben jij de eindredacteur die wij zoeken!

  • Je levert snelle en scherpe eindredactie op artikels voor hln.be.
  • Je analyseert waar welke inbreng van jouw hand noodzakelijk is op hln.be en stelt zelf prioriteiten.
  • Je gebruikt gericht tools om de online impact van je werk te meten en bij te sturen.
  • Je gebruikt gericht tools om artikels online visueel op een treffende manier te presenteren.
  • Je kan het onderscheid maken tussen eindredactie voor een online verhaal en een verhaal in print.
  • Je adopteert een ‘online first’-attitude, ook wanneer je voor print werkt.
  • Je maakt regionale nieuwspagina’s voor de gedrukte krant.
  • Je screent elk artikel op taal- en spelfouten en gaat na of de informatie correct en volledig is.
  • Je bedenkt pakkende titels en selecteert treffende beelden bij elk verhaal.

Wat maakt jou de ideale kandidaat?

  • Je hebt een brede interesse in actualiteit en regionale berichtgeving.
  • Je staat taalkundig sterk. Lezers meetrekken in een verhaal is jouw tweede natuur.
  • Je bent flexibel en bereid om één zondag op drie te werken.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en in staat om tegen strakke deadlines te werken.
  • Je bent een ploegspeler, in samenwerking met zowel journalisten als collega’s-eindredacteur.
  • Je kan je de huisstijl van zowel Het Laatste Nieuws als hln.be snel eigen maken.
  • Je beschikt minstens over een professionele bachelor.
  • Je hebt relevante ervaring in de journalistiek en kennis van courante software, zoals Indesign.
  • Je leert snel en gaat pro-actief op zoek naar oplossingen.
