Bij HLN geloven we dat lokaal nieuws meer is dan feiten brengen. Het gaat over de verhalen die mensen raken, verbazen of zelfs verbinden. De Vlaamse rand rond Brussel barst van die verhalen. Daarom zoeken we iemand zoals jij. Niet per se de meest ervaren journalist, maar iemand die nieuwsgierig is, die Opwijk, Merchtem, Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Meise, Wemmel en Londerzeel voelt en er klaar voor is om het nieuws tot leven te brengen.

Geen ervaring? Geen probleem. Samen zorgen we ervoor dat je groeit. Met coaching, opleidingen en jouw eigen drive maken we van jou dé HLN-journalist in de Vlaamse rand.

Wat ga je doen?

De Vlaamse rand verdient een scherpe blik. Zo ga je nieuwe lokale horeca-adresjes uittesten in Kapelle-op-den-Bos, én woon je een pittig debat in de gemeenteraad van Londerzeel bij. Jouw missie? Het nieuws vinden, het verhaal brengen en de regio laten zien wat er echt speelt.

Dit is wat je doet:

  • Je maakt van de Vlaamse rand jouw speelveld: Van Opwijk en Merchtem tot Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Londerzeel, Meise en Wemmel.
  • Je duikt in uiteenlopende onderwerpen. Van menselijke verhalen die binnenkomen, over gidsende content, tot het harde nieuws dat iedereen moet weten
  • Je werkt samen met collega’s, fotografen, nieuwschefs en andere creatieve geesten om het nieuws nóg sterker te maken
  • Je geeft de HLN Facebookpagina’s van de regio een frisse, actuele en energieke vibe

We zoeken geen journalistieke ervaring, maar iemand met goesting. Goesting om nieuws te brengen, om mensen te leren kennen, om verhalen te vertellen die blijven hangen.

  • Je bent nieuwsgierig en stapt makkelijk op mensen af. Je weet wat er leeft bij inwoners, ondernemers, politici,...
  • Je hebt een speciale klik met de regio, of je staat te popelen om de regio te ontdekken. Jij wil het HLN-gezicht in jouw buurt worden.
  • Je schrijft vlot, helder en met een vleugje persoonlijkheid
  • Deadlines geven jou energie, en stress zie je als een uitdaging
  • Je kunt prima zelfstandig knallen
  • Je hebt een rijbewijs en vervoer, zodat je overal kunt zijn waar het nieuws gebeurt
  • Je houdt van een beetje chaos, maar weet altijd structuur aan te brengen en overzicht te bewaren
