Acerca del Puesto

DXC busca un Especialista en Linux con sólida experiencia en la administración de entornos empresariales basados en Linux, responsable de garantizar la estabilidad, disponibilidad, seguridad y rendimiento de las plataformas tecnológicas. Participarás en actividades de administración, mantenimiento, actualización, hardening y resolución de incidentes en ambientes críticos de producción.

El rol es clave para asegurar la continuidad operativa de los servicios tecnológicos de clientes globales, contribuyendo a la estabilidad y seguridad de plataformas críticas de misión. Trabajarás de manera cercana con equipos multidisciplinarios para implementar soluciones, remediar vulnerabilidades y mantener la infraestructura Linux alineada con las mejores prácticas de la industria.

Funciones Esenciales del Puesto

  • Administrar, mantener y monitorear servidores Linux en entornos empresariales.
  • Implementar parches, actualizaciones y mejoras del sistema operativo siguiendo las mejores prácticas de seguridad y disponibilidad.
  • Ejecutar actividades de hardening y remediación de vulnerabilidades identificadas mediante herramientas de gestión de seguridad.
  • Gestionar servicios, configuraciones de red y controles de seguridad en plataformas Linux.
  • Realizar análisis, diagnóstico y resolución de incidentes relacionados con el sistema operativo y componentes asociados.
  • Participar en actividades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para asegurar la continuidad operativa de los servicios.
  • Documentar procedimientos, configuraciones y cambios realizados en la infraestructura.
  • Colaborar con equipos multidisciplinarios para la implementación y soporte de soluciones tecnológicas.

Requisitos Básicos

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia administrando ambientes Linux empresariales.
  • Experiencia sólida en Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experiencia en implementación de parches y actualizaciones de sistemas operativos Linux.
  • Conocimiento y experiencia en hardening de servidores y remediación de vulnerabilidades.
  • Conocimiento en administración de servicios Linux, networking y seguridad.
  • Experiencia en troubleshooting y resolución de problemas en sistemas operativos Linux.
  • Conocimiento de mejores prácticas de operación, disponibilidad y seguridad en plataformas empresariales.
