Integration Architect

Role Description

DXC Technology Egypt is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to design and deliver enterprise integration solutions across multiple platforms for clients in Egypt and the wider region. The role focuses on defining scalable, secure, and reusable integration architectures across applications, data, and cloud platforms, with particular emphasis on MuleSoft and Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end enterprise integration architectures across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS applications, including Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, and third-party systems.
  • Apply API-led connectivity and select appropriate integration platforms, including MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, and Power Platform.
  • Conduct technical discovery workshops and translate business requirements into integration solution designs.
  • Define integration standards, reference architectures, and API specifications using OpenAPI/OAS and RAML.
  • Establish standards for API reuse, versioning, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Select and implement appropriate integration patterns, including API-led, event-driven, orchestration, batch, and B2B/file-based integration.
  • Produce architecture documentation, interface catalogues, sequence diagrams, integration inventories, and technical design documents.
  • Estimate integration scope, including connector selection, API and message volumes, platform capacity, environments, and deployment requirements.
  • Guide development teams on implementation quality, error handling, logging, monitoring, security policies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design integration solutions that meet non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Recommend integration platforms and deployment models, including cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures, considering licensing and operational requirements.
  • Support presales activities through technical proposals, solution estimates, presentations, and architecture walkthroughs.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and platform issues during implementation and post-deployment stabilization.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on MuleSoft experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of API-led architecture, REST and SOAP services, messaging patterns, and event-driven integration.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, core banking, retail, and government platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration technologies and approaches, including:Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and API Management.Power Platform: Power Automate, standard and custom connectors, Dataverse Web API/OData, virtual tables, and plug-ins.Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations: Data Management Framework (DMF), OData, custom services, and business events.Dual-write: Integration between Finance and Operations applications and Dataverse.Data Integration and Analytics: Azure Data Factory, Synapse Link/Fabric Link for Dataverse, and Azure Data Lake.Third-party Integration Platforms: MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, SnapLogic, Informatica, Scribe, and KingswaySoft (SSIS).
  • Working knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including DataWeave, Anypoint MQ, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Monitoring, and platform administration.
  • Understanding of integration security standards, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, SAML, encryption, and API policy enforcement.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Git repositories, automated deployments, and release governance.
  • Ability to present architecture options, technical risks, estimates, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Certifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
  • MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or Level 2.
  • Microsoft certifications, including Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, or Dynamics 365 certifications.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce integration experience.
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, Runtime Fabric, and hybrid integration architectures.
