Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and installation procedures
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe using hand and power tools
- Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and venting systems according to code and project requirements
- Coordinate with other trades and project teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
- Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and project specifications
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumbing License (required)
- Experience working in commercial construction plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to work on active construction sites and in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces
