Estamos à procura de um Senior Storage & Backup Consultant para integrar uma equipa de infraestrutura responsável pela operação, administração e evolução de ambientes críticos de storage e backup em contexto enterprise.

Esta função terá um papel central na gestão de soluções de backup, storage SAN/NAS, incident management, change management e melhoria contínua de operações, garantindo disponibilidade, segurança e eficiência em ambientes tecnológicos de elevada criticidade.

Sobre a Oportunidade

Como Senior Storage & Backup Consultant, serás responsável por apoiar a engenharia e operação da infraestrutura de storage e backup, trabalhando em colaboração com equipas de servidores, redes, middleware e operações.

Irás participar em atividades de administração, troubleshooting, monitorização, manutenção, desenho de soluções, migrações, documentação técnica e melhoria contínua dos processos operacionais.

Terás também um papel ativo em estudos estratégicos, provas de conceito, definição de procedimentos, formação de equipas e avaliação de qualidade e eficiência das operações.

Responsabilidades

  • Administrar e operar soluções de backup em ambientes enterprise;
  • Realizar setup, instalação, tuning, troubleshooting, monitorização e manutenção de servidores de backup;
  • Gerir backups de servidores físicos e virtuais em Windows Server e Red Hat Linux;
  • Suportar backups de appliances, NAS, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, Oracle e MS SQL Server;
  • Administrar soluções de storage SAN e NAS, preferencialmente baseadas em Dell EMC;
  • Gerir atividades de incident e problem management, incluindo análise, diagnóstico e resolução;
  • Elaborar guidelines operacionais e procedimentos para processos de backup;
  • Participar em atividades de change e configuration management;
  • Apoiar processos de externalização semanal de backups off-site;
  • Especificar soluções operacionais, incluindo equipas, competências, sistemas de gestão e ferramentas de suporte;
  • Participar no desenho, avaliação técnica e implementação de novas soluções para operações;
  • Conduzir testes, provas de conceito e validações em ambiente de pré-produção;
  • Apoiar migrações de novos sistemas para produção;
  • Definir procedimentos, formar operadores e criar ferramentas de suporte operacional;
  • Avaliar métricas de qualidade e eficiência operacional e propor melhorias contínuas;
  • Contribuir para estudos de arquitetura, tecnologia, performance, disponibilidade, escalabilidade e evolução de soluções;
  • Produzir documentação técnica, especificações e recomendações de melhoria.

O que Procuramos

  • Mestrado em IT e mínimo de 8 anos de experiência em função similar, ou licenciatura e mínimo de 12 anos de experiência;
  • Experiência sólida em administração de soluções de backup e storage em ambientes enterprise;
  • Experiência com Dell EMC Networker 19.x ou soluções equivalentes como NetBackup, Commvault, Cohesity ou Veeam;
  • Conhecimentos de Dell EMC Data Domain, especialmente em ambientes Networker;
  • Experiência com NDMP e Tape Libraries;
  • Conhecimentos de MS Windows Server e Red Hat Enterprise Linux;
  • Experiência em ambientes de virtualização;
  • Conhecimentos sólidos de SAN e NAS em soluções enterprise;
  • Experiência em operação, manutenção, troubleshooting e monitorização de infraestruturas críticas;
  • Capacidade de produzir documentação técnica e procedimentos operacionais;
  • Experiência em incident, problem, change e configuration management;
  • Inglês fluente obrigatório;

Será valorizado:

  • Conhecimentos de Dell EMC Data Protection Suite;
  • Experiência com outras tecnologias de backup, como Commvault, Cohesity ou Veeam;
  • Conhecimentos de VMware ESX, vCenter, Nutanix AHV ou Prism Central;
  • Experiência com Dell EMC Unity, PowerStore ou PowerScale;
  • Excelente conhecimento de boas práticas ITIL em operações ICT;
  • Experiência na definição, implementação e acompanhamento de SLAs;
  • Conhecimentos de ferramentas de ICT management, standards e tendências de mercado;
  • Experiência em seleção tecnológica, arquitetura, instalação, configuração, testes e operação;
  • Experiência em formação de equipas, definição de competências e gestão de mudança;
  • Conhecimentos de outras línguas da União Europeia.
