Functie

Als AI Architect definieer en bewaak je de doelarchitectuur, referentiearchitecturen en integratiepatronen voor AI. Je zorgt ervoor dat modellen, agents, dataflows, gateways, platformdiensten en applicaties coherent aansluiten op de bredere enterprise-architectuur en op vereisten rond security, privacy, continuïteit en beheerbaarheid.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:

  • De doelarchitectuur voor generatieve AI, machine learning en agentic AI uitwerken en onderhouden.
  • Referentiearchitecturen en beslispatronen opstellen voor on-premises-, cloud- en hybride inzet, afgestemd op gegevensgevoeligheid, integratiebehoeften en operationele vereisten.
  • Architecturale kaders definiëren voor AI Gateway, Model Context Protocol, retrieval, modeltoegang, agents, identity, logging, observability en lifecyclebeheer.
  • Samen met technology architects deliveryteams begeleiden bij architectuurkeuzes, trade-offs en de overgang van sandbox of proof of concept naar productie.
  • Architectuurreviews uitvoeren en afwijkingen, technische schuld, afhankelijkheden en risico's tijdig zichtbaar maken.
  • Samen met security- en datafuncties privacy, least privilege, dataminimalisatie, isolatie en traceerbaarheid by design integreren.
  • Herbruikbare platform- en integratiebouwblokken identificeren en prioriteren met het AI Enabling Team en het Internal Developer Platform.
  • Technologische evoluties vertalen naar concrete impact, opties en beslispunten.

Technische competenties

  • Ruime ervaring in solutionarchitectuur of IT-architectuur binnen complexe enterpriseomgevingen.
  • Ervaring met API's, eventarchitecturen en integratiepatronen.
  • Inzicht in LLM- en AI-platformarchitecturen, waaronder retrieval, model serving, agents, evaluatie en observability.
  • Vermogen om regelgeving, privacy- en securityvereisten te vertalen naar praktische architectuurprincipes en guardrails.
  • Ervaring met Architectural Decision Records, referentiearchitecturen, non-functionele vereisten en lifecyclebeheer.
  • Kennis van de publieke sector, G-Cloud of de OISZ-context is een troef.

Tijdens een interview worden je technische en generieke competenties en je talenkennis geëvalueerd.

De plaats van tewerkstelling is Brussel. De functie biedt de mogelijkheid om deeltijds te telewerken.
