📋 Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Voor een data- en rapporteringstraject binnen de politiewerking zoeken we een ervaren Data Engineer / BI Developer die backend data engineering combineert met het ontsluiten en visualiseren van data in Power BI.

In deze rol werk je mee aan de verdere uitbouw en modernisering van een datalakehouse-omgeving. Je bouwt end-to-end dataoplossingen, van ruwe brondata tot bruikbare inzichten voor operationele en strategische rapportering. Daarbij zorg je ervoor dat data correct wordt verwerkt, gemodelleerd en beschikbaar gemaakt via performante dashboards en rapporten.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Backend / Data Engineering

  • Migreren van bestaande data pipelines en datawarehouse-structuren.
  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van data pipelines, ETL-processen en datatransformaties.
  • Modelleren van data volgens gangbare methodieken zoals Kimball, Inmon en Data Vault.
  • Uitwerken van data processing logica in SQL en Python.
  • Werken met Microsoft Fabric of de Azure data stack, zoals Data Factory, Synapse en Fabric.
  • Inzetten van aanvullende technologieën zoals dbt, Databricks of Apache-gebaseerde oplossingen waar relevant.
  • Bijdragen aan best practices rond data engineering, Git, versioning workflows en deployment.
  • Verbeteren van de schaalbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en onderhoudbaarheid van het datalakehouse.

BI & visualisatie

  • Ontwikkelen van Power BI datasets, semantische modellen, dashboards en rapporten.
  • Opleveren van rapportering voor zowel operationele als strategische inzichten.
  • Vertalen van businessvragen naar KPI's, datamodellen en concrete visualisaties.
  • Optimaliseren van performantie en gebruikservaring van rapporten.
  • Implementeren van data governance en toegangsbeheer binnen Power BI.
  • Ondersteunen van self-service BI en begeleiden van eindgebruikers bij het gebruik van rapportering.
  • Werken met reporting tools om data toegankelijk en bruikbaar te maken voor verschillende doelgroepen.

Samenwerking

  • Samenwerken met data engineers, architecten en business stakeholders.
  • Actief bijdragen aan nieuwe use cases en het onboarden van nieuwe datadomeinen.
  • De brug vormen tussen technische teams en de business, van data naar inzicht.

📝 Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring als BI Consultant en BI Ontwikkelaar.
  • Je beschikt over een hogere opleiding, bachelor of master, of gelijkwaardige relevante ervaring.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met requirementsanalyse.
  • Je hebt sterke ervaring in Data Management (ETL).
  • Je beheerst Git en versioning workflows.
  • Je hebt ruime kennis van Microsoft Fabric of de Azure data stack, waaronder Azure Data Factory.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met Power BI, inclusief het opbouwen van semantische modellen en het ontwikkelen van dashboards en rapporten.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met reporting tools en datawarehousemodellering.
  • Je hebt sterke kennis van SQL en relevante projectervaring.
  • Ervaring met dbt is een plus.
  • Je programmeert vlot in een taal zoals Python.
  • Je vertaalt businessvragen vlot naar datamodellen en visualisaties.
  • Je drukt je uitstekend uit in het Nederlands, met een vereist niveau van CEFR C2.
