Hansen Technologies (ASX: HSN) is a global software and services provider, serving energy, water/utilities, and telecommunications industries. With customers in 80+ countries, we foster collaboration across 26 global offices. From 5G advancements to renewable energy transitions, we empower customers to overcome challenges, innovate, and drive new business models. At Hansen, we are also embedding AI enablement across our operations. From automating workflows and enhancing service delivery, to driving innovation in customer solutions, AI is shaping the next chapter of how we support our clients. With a focus on operational excellence and innovation, Hansen is using AI not just as a tool, but as a strategic enabler to deliver smarter, faster, and more resilient solutions for the future.
This is full-time onsite role based in our Atlanta office, USA.
Why This Role Matters
The Partner Manager, US builds the North American partner channel from a standing start. Hansen has almost no partner base in the territory today and no established framework around it. The first task is to create one. Hansen grows principally through installed base expansion and partner-sourced revenue and the plan is for partners to become the largest single growth lever. In North America, where Hansen has its largest customer concentration and where customer retention has become increasingly important, partners play three critical roles. They bring opportunities Hansen would not otherwise see. They provide delivery capacity that allows Hansen to scale without constraining implementation.
The primary partner ecosystem comprises utility-focused regional systems integrators, hyperscalers for marketplace and cloud co-sell opportunities, technology and data alliance partners and advisory firms that influence buying decisions. Global systems integrators may be pursued selectively where a transformation programme is already underway and Hansen has a clear opportunity to participate. For the first eighteen months, success will be measured primarily on building the foundation. This includes identifying, recruiting, contracting and enabling partners against defined standards, while creating partner-sourced pipeline. As the ecosystem matures, revenue contribution will become an increasingly important measure of success.
This role works alongside the direct commercial organisation, not independently of it. Account ownership and customer relationships remain with the Regional EVP and Account Management teams. Partner-sourced opportunities are aligned to regional growth objectives and contribute directly to regional performance.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, recruit and onboard strategic partners across North America, establishing the foundations of Hansen's partner ecosystem. Build relationships with utilities-focused regional systems integrators, hyperscalers, technology partners and advisory firms that influence buying decisions.
- Create partner business plans that generate qualified pipeline and support long-term revenue growth.
- Develop and execute partner enablement programmes, ensuring partners have the training, tools and support required to position and deliver Hansen solutions.
- Work closely with Regional EVPs, Account Managers, Sales and Delivery teams to align partner activity with regional growth objectives.
- Support co-sell opportunities and account-based engagement plans that increase partner-sourced pipeline. Establish and maintain partner operating processes, onboarding frameworks and performance measures.
- Manage commercial partner relationships, including ongoing engagement plans, performance expectations and business reviews.
- Represent Hansen at customer, partner and industry events across North America.
- Travel throughout the United States and Canada to develop executive-level relationships and support strategic opportunities.
What You Bring
- Experience in partner management, alliances, channel sales or business development within an enterprise software, SaaS or technology services environment. A track record of building partner relationships that generate measurable pipeline and commercial outcomes. Experience working with systems integrators, cloud providers, technology partners or consulting organisations. Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Experience supporting partner-led sales motions, co-sell initiatives and channel growth programmes. The ability to operate independently and build new programmes, processes and relationships from the ground up. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Experience in the utilities, energy, telecommunications or broader enterprise technology sectors would be highly advantageous.
