Als Sales Engineer ben jij dé technische expert die op de baan technisch advies geeft en totaaloplossingen voorstelt aan onze klanten binnen onze Business Unit Hoses & Hydraulics. Je hebt een sterk technisch en commercieel inzicht en brengt dit over op jouw klanten.

Je functie

Als Sales Engineer bij ERIKS ben je de drijvende kracht achter het vergroten van ons marktaandeel binnen jouw toegewezen klantenportfolio. Jouw klanten zien jou als hun vertrouwde technische-expert, die proactief klantspecifieke oplossingen biedt om hun processen naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Je adviseert hen over de juiste slangen en optimaliseert de Total Cost of Ownership.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Marktontwikkelaar: Samen met je collega's van Internal Sales en Accountmanagement werk je strategisch aan het uitbouwen van onze positie in de markt. Jij identificeert en benut nieuwe kansen bij onze klanten.
  • Klantspecifieke oplossingen: Je vertaalt de behoeften van klanten in op maat gemaakte technische oplossingen. Jouw technische expertise en productkennis zorgen ervoor dat je altijd de juiste oplossing kunt bieden.
  • Innovatie en ontwikkeling: Je blijft continu op de hoogte van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen en trends binnen het Hoses & Hydraulics segment. Je deelt jouw kennis actief en werkt samen met Application Engineers, R&D, productie en leveranciers om de beste resultaten te behalen.
  • Communicatie: Regelmatig overleg met collega's en partners zorgt ervoor dat je altijd op de hoogte bent van wat er speelt binnen jouw marktsegment. Je bouwt sterke relaties op met alle betrokkenen.

Daarnaast heb je een brede technische kennis buiten je eigen vakgebied. Je beheert je eigen agenda en bezoekt proactief bedrijven om samen oplossingen te vinden voor hun technische uitdagingen.

Je kennis en vaardigheden

  • Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een technisch-commerciële rol
  • Ervaring op het gebied van Industriële Slangen is een pre
  • Een bachelor opleiding binnen een technische richting
  • Nederlands en Engels zijn zeer belangrijk, Frans is een sterke extra
