Ben jij een ervaren accountant die graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt over een breed en gevarieerd takenpakket? Werk je nauwkeurig, analytisch en zelfstandig, maar haal je ook energie uit samenwerking en het verbeteren van processen? Dan is deze functie als Accountant A-Z misschien iets voor jou.

Voor een stabiele organisatie zijn we op zoek naar een Accountant A-Z om het Finance-team te versterken. Je maakt deel uit van een afdeling Financiën van ongeveer 10 medewerkers en werkt nauw samen met twee collega's binnen Accounting & Reporting. Je rapporteert aan en wordt ondersteund door de coördinator Accounting & Reporting.

Naast het dagelijkse accounting- en reportingwerk krijg je de kans om actief mee te bouwen aan de verdere professionalisering van de financiële afdeling en mee te werken aan diverse change- en verbeterprojecten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Accountant A-Z neem je een breed takenpakket op en zorg je mee voor een correcte en tijdige financiële administratie.

Je staat onder meer in voor:

  • Het boeken van inkomende facturen, voorzieningen en de salarisadministratie.
  • Het mee verzorgen van de maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Het voorbereiden van de balans en resultatenrekening.
  • Het voorbereiden en aanleveren van informatie voor auditwerkzaamheden.
  • Het voorbereiden van de btw-aangifte, vennootschapsbelasting en andere fiscale verplichtingen.
  • Het voorbereiden en opvolgen van diverse financiële afrekeningen.
  • Het samen met je collega's opstellen en aanleveren van betrouwbare financiële rapporteringen.
  • Het verzamelen en aanleveren van gegevens in het kader van ESG-rapportering.
  • Het meewerken aan projecten die gericht zijn op het verbeteren en verder professionaliseren van de werking van de financiële afdeling.
  • Het samenwerken met de manager Financiën en collega's aan uiteenlopende verbeter- en changeprojecten.

We zoeken een ervaren accountant die zijn of haar verantwoordelijkheid neemt en graag zelfstandig werkt binnen een collegiale omgeving.

Je beschikt over:

  • Een bachelor Accountancy-Fiscaliteit of een gelijkwaardige achtergrond door ervaring.
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring als A-Z Accountant/Boekhouder.
  • Een sterke analytische ingesteldheid en een goed cijfermatig inzicht.
  • Een nauwkeurige en gestructureerde werkhouding, met oog voor detail én het vermogen om het grotere geheel te blijven zien.
  • Een grote mate van zelfstandigheid en verantwoordelijkheidszin.
  • Een proactieve houding en de bereidheid om mee te denken over verbeteringen en nieuwe projecten.
  • Goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
  • Een collegiale ingesteldheid en het vermogen om vlot samen te werken.

Ervaring of kennis binnen de verzekeringssector is een pluspunt.
