Naast het hoofdkantoor in de Verenigde Staten (CA) beschikt United Sports Brands over regionale kantoren in België, Japan en Canada.

Voor ons Europees hoofdkantoor in Geel breiden we het Finance team verder uit en zijn we op zoek naar een Accountant/Financial Controller.

Jouw rol

Als Accountant/Financial Controller maak je deel uit van een klein en hecht Finance team (Finance Manager, AP-verantwoordelijke en jijzelf). Je neemt een brede en verantwoordelijke rol op binnen de boekhouding en je bent op termijn verantwoordelijk voor het juist en op tijd rapporteren van de maandcijfers en wettelijke verplichtingen. (BTW, ICV, intrastat,…)

Je werkt in een internationale context en krijgt ruimte om processen te optimaliseren en mee te groeien met het bedrijf.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Accountant/Financial Controller

  • Verwerken van financiële verrichtingen
  • Verantwoordelijkheid over totale uitgaande facturatie/creditnota’s
  • Volledige opvolging van inkomende betalingen en openstaande klantenbalansen
  • Communicatie met klanten omtrent financiële en administratieve zaken
  • Up-to-date houden van klanten- en financiële masterdata
  • Ondersteuning bij BTW- aangiftes en maandafsluit (later zelfstandig overnemen)
  • Opmaken van financiële rapportages in opdracht van de Finance Manager
  • Afstemmen van intercompanyposities met andere groepsentiteiten.
  • Ondersteunen van financiële en interne audits.

Projecten (op termijn)

  • Automatiseren van betalingsverwerking (o.a. import van betaalplatformen in SAP, vooral voor B2C)
  • Meewerken aan de verdere professionalisering van financiële en administratieve processen (zoals BTW rapportering in verschillende EU landen)

Jouw profiel

  • Enkele jaren ervaring als accountant (inclusief maandafsluit A-Z)
  • Ervaring in een internationale omgeving
  • Kennis van BTW wetgeving binnen de EU
  • Zeer goede kennis van MS Office, in het bijzonder Excel
  • Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels (extra talen zijn een plus)
  • Ervaring met SAP, bij voorkeur SAP Business One, is een pluspunt
  • Ervaring met verwerking van B2C-betalingen via betaalplatformen is een troef
