ViTeS vzw is een maatwerkbedrijf, actief als Kringwinkel in Vlaams-Brabant en Brussel. De organisatie stelt vandaag 750 medewerkers tewerk, met meer dan 50 nationaliteiten, verspreid over 14 locaties. De kernopdracht van ViTeS is duurzame tewerkstelling en inzetbaarheid van mensen met een grotere afstand tot de reguliere arbeidsmarkt. We doen dit via Kringwinkelactiviteiten. Een performante en financieel duurzame operationele werking is noodzakelijk om deze kernopdracht op een doeltreffende wijze te realiseren. Als SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Ambassador werken we veilig en efficiënt, met zorg voor mensen, producten en omgeving. Samen werken, samen groeien.

Omwille van het nakende pensioen van de huidige directeurs is ViTeS op zoek naar een:

Algemeen Directeur

Jobomschrijving

Als Algemeen Directeur heeft u de dagelijkse leiding over ViTeS en zit u het directiecomité voor. U draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de algemene werking, strategie, commerciële performantie en de afdelingen Financiën en Preventie.

Uw uitvalsbasis is Heverlee of Vilvoorde waarbij u zich regelmatig verplaatst tussen de vestigingen in Vlaams-Brabant en Brussel.

Meer specifiek zijn uw voornaamste taken:

  • Strategisch leiderschap & Beleid: U vertaalt de maatschappelijke missie van ViTeS naar een realistisch en performant economisch model. U creëert ruimte voor strategische vooruitblik en langetermijnreflectie binnen een tot op heden sterk operationeel gestuurde organisatie.
  • Management & Organisatieontwikkeling: U stelt duidelijke prioriteiten, hakt knopen door en ondersteunt het managementteam en de medewerkers. U bouwt aan vertrouwen, samenhang en verankert veiligheid en zorg in het dagelijks handelen.
  • Financieel & Commercieel beheer: U bewaakt en versterkt de financiële gezondheid en duurzaamheid (subsidies, omzet, marges, personeelskosten). U neemt doordachte commerciële risico's om in te spelen op de markt en concurrentie.
  • Stakeholderbeheer & Sociaal Overleg: U onderhoudt de relatie met en rapporteert aan het Bestuursorgaan (in nauw overleg met de voorzitter). U vertegenwoordigt de werkgever in het sociaal overleg (OR, CPBW) met een verbindende én sturende rol.
  • Externe vertegenwoordiging: U bent het gezicht van ViTeS naar de buitenwereld toe en bouwt actief aan strategische netwerken met lokale besturen, partners en sectororganisaties.
  • U beschikt over ervaring in een leidinggevende senior managementrol binnen een middelgrote tot grote organisatie.
  • U beschikt over een masterdiploma (of vergelijkbaar door ervaring).
  • U hebt bij voorkeur ervaring en/of affiniteit in social profit, non-profit of een productie- omgeving met een heterogene groep van medewerkers.
  • Als generalist combineert u brede basiskennis van financiën, HR, veiligheid, juridische en operationele zaken met het vermogen om het overzicht te bewaren.
  • U bent een mensgerichte en motiverende leider die luistert, verbindt, medewerkers stimuleert en vertrouwen geeft.
  • U beschikt over een sterk strategisch en analytisch denkvermogen wat u toelaat om de juiste opportuniteiten voor de organisatie te herkennen.
  • U bent ondernemend, daadkrachtig en besluitvaardig, ook in moeilijke omstandigheden of onder tijdsdruk.
  • U bent een toonbeeld van integriteit en authenticiteit, met een oprechte betrokkenheid bij diversiteit en kwetsbare doelgroepen.
  • U beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden om op een respectvolle manier overleg te voeren en te netwerken met interne en externe diverse stakeholders. Ervaring met Ondernemersraad en vakbonden is aangewezen.
  • U spreekt en schrijft uitstekend Nederlands, waarbij de kennis van het Frans een extra troef is.
