Je werkt 20 tot 30 uur per week, voornamelijk tussen 08:00 en 16:00 uur. Je zorgt ervoor dat kleding en linnengoed altijd schoon en netjes opgevouwen klaar liggen voor bewoners. Dit werk is belangrijk, want je draagt direct bij aan het dagelijkse comfort van de mensen die hier wonen. Je haalt gebruikte was op en brengt schone kleding en linnengoed naar de juiste kamers. Tijdens je rondes leg je alles netjes in de kast en houd je de voorraad goed in de gaten. Regelmatig voer je tellingen uit en zorg je dat alles overzichtelijk blijft. Je hebt veel contact met bewoners en zorgmedewerkers. Jij bent het vaste aanspreekpunt voor vragen over de was. Je werkt zelfstandig, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en maakt echt verschil.
