Voor een internationaal en sterk groeiend technologiebedrijf zoeken we een Application Engineer voor de regio Beveren.

De organisatie maakt deel uit van een wereldwijde groep en is actief binnen high-tech elektronische materialen. Vanuit België worden gespecialiseerde producten ontwikkeld en geproduceerd die gebruikt worden door internationale spelers binnen de micro- en nano-elektronica.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar technologie, innovatie en R&D centraal staan. Omdat klanten werken met steeds complexere productieprocessen, speelt de organisatie een belangrijke rol in het ontwikkelen, testen en optimaliseren van producten en toepassingen.

Functieomschrijving Als Application Engineer vorm je de technische schakel tussen de klant, R&D, Product Management, Business Development en Sales.

  • Je biedt technische ondersteuning aan klanten en begeleidt hen bij productevaluaties, kwalificaties en procesoptimalisaties.
  • Je voert experimenten en analyses uit in het application lab en vertaalt de resultaten naar duidelijke rapporten en presentaties.
  • Je analyseert technische problemen en werkt samen met interne en externe partners aan gerichte oplossingen en verbeteringen.
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van nieuwe technieken en toepassingen en deelt jouw technische expertise via presentaties, trainingen en overleg.
  • Je beschikt over een master in chemie, fysica, materiaalkunde of engineering en hebt ervaring met experimenteel onderzoek; een PhD is een plus.
  • Je hebt enkele jaren ervaring binnen R&D, procesontwikkeling of een technische onderzoeksomgeving, bij voorkeur binnen semiconductor, micro-elektronica, chemie, pharma of een aanverwante high-tech sector.
  • Je combineert een sterke technische expertise met een hands-on en klantgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk, georganiseerd en analytisch en krijgt energie van het zoeken naar oplossingen voor technische vraagstukken.
